Nope. It's spelled correctly although the "t" kinda blends in with the "a". I think the "Lamborghini" is spelled correctly too but it's so tiny I can barely make it out.
I got sideswipe and prowl off the same guy beigoma did and they're both awesome. His seem more like factory seconds with very minor flaws than KOs. countach is spelled correctly on mine too.
OK so I got a cheap Iron Man USB key, the size is a little off but I think it looks funny enough to leave it as is! Edit, adding a closer photo of Glambor playing Iron Man, if anyone wants clearer photos I'll do them, just let me know.
Does anyone else think the KO Sideswipe head is better than the official MP? It's subtle, but definitely an improvement.
I know its not completely related, but has anyone heard or seen of MP silverstreak or smokescreen getting a KO yet? There the last two im waiting on...
I've had my KO SS for about a week now and I gotta say I am thoroughly impressed with him. He has one tiny blemish in the red paint on the roof. And it's incredibly not obvious. He just looks fantastic, and I don't even care for G1 designs or figures all that much aside from Optimus. I only got him to go with my YotH Prime, thought he'd look cool in the translucent trailer. And does he. But I have opened a bad can of worms with SS, now I want Prowl and Streak, and I could eventually go for a MP Hound and Jazz as well. lol. edit: Ooo, and a MP Tracks someday.
This is why the KO lives on my shelf and the official lies in its box waiting for a trade. Also , KO has better paint.
Just got mien and same issues as others, gun is really loose, chest tab cant peg in. And mine also has Lamborghini Countach spelled correctly.
Interesting - I saw you were reviewing a G2 Sideswipe - I didn't know it was the KO one though - Or did you get both ? I wish there was an easy way to get the head off as I prefer the non-rage face as an option myself. If I was 'seriously' collecting MP's I'd pre-order the legit ones for about £35.00 from asian traders - but I'm not huge on MP's there isn't enough of them yet for me to think of them as anything more than an quirky shelf oddity so just as I was happy to buy CHMS 'seekers' I'm happy to buy KO Mp's too (as inexpensively as possible) the Gold one is just a bit of fun though and I'd recommend buying that one even if you like the legit ones usually. Who knows maybe in 5 years time I might be feeling silly not having bought more legit ones but for the time being I'd rather spend my money on Third Party toys as long as Hasbro is quietly having a nervous breakdown in the corner over the age of Extinction toy line they've made.
I've already reviewed the Takara one and yeah the KO version came through today so I can do some comparisons and see if it's a better more affordable option for people
word is theyre rewriting Dante's Inferno to create a special wrung of hell just for us KO collectors. so dont fret, we'll pay in the end. But in the mean time, if you could just...do whatever it is you do....quietly? or somewhere else?
