Too bad about Lockdown, Lance was just too perfect! But Ryan was great as Jetfire.

Welker as Galvatron is also great..this could mean he will either do his G1 Megatron voice, Galvatron voice or

DOTM Sentinel Prime voice, as Galvatron might be built from remains of both Megatron and Sentinel...

either way this can't go wrong.

I know it will continue to happen and in rare cases if it makes sense for the character I'm cool with it. I would still rather have real Voice Actors though 90% of the time.

 

That is a pretty great sounding cast.

He's wouldn't be voicing an "Autobot", he's voicing a "Dinobot" and besides, we're still a few VAs short. Who will provide the voice for the Dinobots and Stinger?

 

Goodman and Watanabe = first bit of actual excitement I've felt for this whole affair since Grimlock's reveal.

The rest I can take or leave.

 

Note 1 : A Lack of Dinobot voices there suggesting they don't speak (unless there is more cast to announce or they have announced it already).

Note 2 : The 2nd Movie Brains is in and not even a sniff of a toy not even a static figurine.

Note 3 : John Goodman is a heck of a lot more like Bulkhead than he is Hound - proving yet again Hound should have been Bulkhead.

Would people really have screamed about Bulkhead when there's already Drift and Lockdown in the cast as well as made up Characters or namesplaps like Stinger or Crosshairs... what's a little Bulkhead between friends ?

Having Bulkhead is tiny issue compared to Drift or made up Dinobot names. Not to mention Hound is nothing like Bulkhead aside from being slightly softspoken and he already had the perfect alt mode in the H-3 vehicle waiting for him. So you giving respect to Hound by making him Bulkhead instead.

I hope Hasbro tweak the colours and just straight out repaint the "Hound" toy as Bulkhead giving people the excuse they need to call the mould what it actually looks like.

 

I love this voice cast, but the one that worries me is Mark Ryan as Lockdown. He better not have a evil British accent. This is one thin that I was worried about when it came to casting the voices. Now that I think of it, looking at Lockdown's face and head design, he looks a lot like a bald Mark Ryan.

Some great choices here, I was already looking forward to the film, but now I CAN'T WAIT!!

Excellent! I can't wait to hear them speak for the two minutes of screentime Hound and Drift will inevitably get!

 

Good to see Welker back as Galvatron!!!! But I am a little let down by Mark Ryan as Lockdown, I will hold back my judgement till I see the movie.

 

DAMNS! I was hoping for DiMaggio or Berger to be Grimlock!

Well, I wasn't expecting that. At all. But it's an interesting announcement. Hopefully a positive one. Is Ken Watanabe fluent in English, though, or is Drift going to speak in Japanese? Or will it be something like the original Dracula movie where he'll learn just the necessary lines in a different language? I don't really mind either way, but I AM curious.
