I thought it was the 17th also at least based on this article: Transformers Age of Extinction Toys Street Date Broken! - Transformers News - TFW2005
I believe it was announced that while the online street date would be the 12th, the store street date would be the 17th. With shiping, that ends up with getting them at pretty much the same time.
Surprise of the day... Saw this at the Main Street Collectors Mall in Milwaukie today around 1 PM... and did not buy it. I can't even describe the rush of joy I felt when I saw it. I was 9 years old all over again.
mmmm.... I had a great attic find that was a MIB G1 Jetfire. A friend of my mom's husband had it hidden away in their attic. They ran across it when getting ready to move. Sold it to me for a cool hundred. WHITE AS SNOW. Unapplied stickers. MINT. The box had a little tear in it but yeah. Felt so good! A huge rush of nostalgia because I remember owning a Jetfire when I was a little kid and he broke when I was playing with him. I remember my mom forcing me to throw him away. Many tears were shed. Felt so good to get him back Something about seeing these toys in those G1 boxes is such a huge rush, like you say!

Speaking of Fred Meyer, a friend told me that some of the stores he hit the other day had restocked with Star Wars Black Wave 3, so if you're looking for any Stormtroopers there you go. I've got the ones I need on preorder through BBTS so I'm good, figured I'd pass along the word in case anyone was looking.
