I just found an article where Mark Wahlberg was being interviewed about tf4 and the upcoming sequels.

One part of the interview is " But this movie is much bigger and more intense. You've got eight Autobots talking to you at the same time. There's nothing but a pole or a stick really there "

Who are the 8 autobots obviously there is Optimus, Bumblebee, Crosshairs, Hound and Drift but who are the others???? (I doubt he is referring to the Dinobots as that would make 10)

Also does this confirm that Ratchet (if he is one of the 8) has more than just a flashback of him being killed???

What do you guys think??????

I think it was meant as more of a turn of phrase.

Yeah in the context which it was spoken I wouldn't take it literally.

Lol, I'll be the odd ball here and say I think he did mean to say 8 and there will be a scene where he's talking to 8 Autobots. It's my opinion! Stop yelling at me! Ill say it if I want to! (runs off to a dark corner)

 

I Agree, it did sound like he was talking about a specific scene with 8 Autobots

But then again maybe the reporter mis-understood what he was saying

 

Yeah, I think he may have actually meant the number 8. That interview gave me the impression there was a scene where he actually was talking to 8 autobots. But we'll know soon enough.

 

Let me get this straight there only one main con in this film, cool I can't wait to see lockdown take on drift or Optimus or the dinobots

 

Technically there's three main cons.

Lockdown being the main threat and Galvatron and Stinger, who both apparently join the Decepticons later, more than likely after they become self aware.

Probably a random number. It's unlikely he really knows or cares about any of the Autobots besides Optimus or Bumblebee or Grimlock.

 

I'd say if he said 10 that was a guess and he didn't know but why 8?

 

Lockdown has been comfirmed to be neither Autobot or Decepticon.
And as far as I know, there has not been said anything about Galvy and Stinger joining the Decepticons later.
