I definitely LOVE this!

 

Very cool design!  

The fact that his design was inspired by the water tribe in Avatar and Korra is even more awesome.

 

I like the idea of aquatic transformers. It's something we haven't seen a lot of. I'd bet it's a concept that could sustain it's own comic and toyline. Especially since robots and water are counter-intuitive in some respects.

 

Kinda looks like Batman's jet boat.

 

Looks great! Bot-mode has a little bit of an Energon Mirage flavor to it (tall head crest, big boat bits coming over the back). Here's hoping they develop an action figure out of the design

New bots are always welcome! Boat Transformers are so few and far between, and this is a really sweet design, I can tell Milne had a blast designing him.

Very awesome. Not enough boat-formers out there, sez I. Hopefully we get a decent toy from this design at some point.

 

Not that we are going to see Transformers actually TRANSFORM in these books anyway.

Interesting that the head has some similarities with Sky Byte...

Plus, given how this guy looks a lot like Drift's toy (or the Blurr retool, factoring in the blue-based colorscheme), I eagerly hope that this guy get made into a toy as well. With an Energon Mirage repaint (though he looks like he'd fit in with the Decepticons just as well!)

I'm pretty sure they still DO transform, they just don't highlight those occurrences because, given that the only characters are all part of a race with natural shape-changing abilities, it's nothing spectacular unless the alt. mode is particularly unusual (K-class Decepticons, Rung, Ambulon, etc.)

 

Alex Milne can do no wrong when it comes to illustrating Transformers.
