Still wouldn't have hurt for Hasbro to have released a figure of Megatron's upgraded FoC body; preferably in voyager size, but oh well. At least I have the new Generations Leader Megatron to look forward to. I wonder if they tweaked the melee system for RotDS? It looks like they may have, which would be interesting because I'm not a huge fan of the quick, single strike combat that WFC and FoC did. It'd be nice to be able to string some combos, at least up to three hits like you could do in the RotF game. Maybe add a blocking/parrying mechanic as well.
I just thought of something guys. Didn't we get confirmation that this game is a prequel to FoC? Didn't Megatron get his new form in FoC? That's quite a huge continuity error...
I think they said it was just before the launch of the Ark. Which doesn't exactly provide a lot of opportunity for a good plot...
Well, FOC had 5 chapters in a row, all taking place on the same day and only about half of this game takes place in the FOC Universe so it should hopefully be alright. I guess it depends on how they do it.
From what I've read in my gameinformer, The cybertron missions are sort of a flashback to right before the ARK takes off, so it makes sense Megatron has his new body, we should also find out what happened to them when they went through the portal, either through gameplay or audio logs like FOC
It's also interesting that in the gameinformer website they say the game will let players choose whether it wants to play from the perspective of the Autobots or the Decepticons. So could this mean there are two separate campaigns?
