I thought about that. I'll need a second Gouf shield, finger vulcan, heat rod, and the High Mobility parts from Johnny Ridden's Zaku. All I'm doing is cleaning up some of my edges and fixing some paint mistakes before I give it a better topcoat. I was thinking about making modifications to its mono-eye using the Builders Parts sensors.
The High mobility parts will probably look pretty slick on the gouf. I may use the backpack from the gouf ignited on the R35.
I'm eyeing some cheap duplicates of the 2.0 to have spare parts to work with. We'll see how it works. But I figured I'd need the Ridden Zaku or Tri-Stars High Mobility Type for the right leg parts. Which now that I think about it the Tri-Star parts don't quite work.
Hey, I have almost the exact same case to hold supplies and snapped parts . The MG Gouf should look great when redone. I just finished my first full airbrushed kit 2 days ago and was waiting for it to dry. I've airbrushed parts or just certain colors for kits before, but never primed and colored a full figure, so it was a learning experience for me. I did some seamline filling on the most noticeable areas, panel lines with a pencil, experimented with stripes, and tried using some soot weathering from the tamiya kit for some subtle post shading on the raised edges of the neutral gray parts. It's hard to see everything in the poor photos, I don't have a very good camera and set up . Rest of the pics can be seen in the album:
For some reason I was only thinking of the inner shins originally rather than the flared out outer bits. There's a cheap Ridden Zaku on Mandarake right now though not at the some store location as any of the extra Gouf's I'd need
Yes. Because the show was celebrating the entire franchise, so naturally they would include elements from different series. Looking at those things for hints of what Bandai's going to do later is an incredible reach. That they were made of elements of merch currently available is coincidental.
There's a preview of UC #7 online now.. and they showed this: Conroy's Jegan Type-D (ECOAS) with the Hyper Bazooka... Bandai. Make. It. Happen!!!! I really love the modified 'four eyes' sensor with the improved sniper monocle.
Fair enough. I just thought it noteworthy in that the only non-UC or GBF head designs came from After War, when there are a ton more grunt suit head details they could have used in place of that Stormtrooper-like one (I.E. the head 'sirens; from the Tieren, any GM-based window visor, etc.)
HGUC Neo Zeong, now in colour: 1/100 Exclusive Green Psychoframe Armed Armor DE with Bande Dessinee volume 12 Kinda tempted.
It looks really good actually. Still not buying it, if the postage/customs/space weren't a factor, I might have considered it
I'm still on the "undecided/yes I want to build this and I know a whole bunch of people who would want to see me build this" list, and I know I have my backlog of infinite awesome to build through first, but I know I'm going to have plenty of shelf space in a few months!!!
Am I the only one who's more excited for the AOZ Re-Boot Hi-Zack than the Neo Zeong that I can't afford?
