I want to complete all of Season 1 of the original cartoon. Doesn't matter to me if its Takara, Hasbro, or 3rd Party as long as the figure fits in the display. I'll pick up Season 2 releases as they are released, but they aren't really my priority.

    Decepticons
    Megatron v2
    Insecticons
    Constructicons
    Reflector

    Autobots
    Cliffjumper
    Huffer
    Windcharger
    Hound
    Mirage
    Jazz
    Trailbreaker
    Sunstreaker
    Ironhide
    Ratchet

I'm planning on Fans Toys finishing the Dinobots, Daca Toys covering Skyfire and putting iGear Brawn and Gears in my MP display when Hasbro releases Generations Legends versions to put in my Classics display.

MP Sharkticon with a Quintesson would be amazing. After Galvatron, Cyclonus, and Scourge, of course.

Blaster and Perceptor were major players in s2, The Movie, s3, and some of the Japanese seasons. They deserve MPs.

I'd buy an MP Silverbolt. He is the largest original TF toy that I still have, albeit it being the G2 version.

Ha I was kinda cheating. I love Dead End and Motormaster so I would need to see the whole gang, Menasor and Abominus are probably my favourite combiners.

The other aerialbots would be cool mainly for Superion. AirRaid was the only other one I thought looked cool individually. Silverbolt would make such an amazing masterpiece. I honestly think him and motormaster would be on par with MP10

Yeah, I want Devastator because he's iconic and I love his color scheme, but my favorite combiners are Predaking, Computron, Abominus, and Piranacon. If we ever get any of those, Predaking seems most likely. Really, though, I'll take any G1 character in MP form!

^^^Yes, Devastator is the only combiner I would need to make my collection feel complete. He was the only one in the '86 movie also.

I do think we'll get an MP gestalt (Dev, if nothing else), but what would people prefer, a massive box set, or individual releases?

I think I lean towards box set; it would ruin my lowly bank account, but would probably be cheaper in the long run, plus it wouldn't take up a ton of release slots.

I posted it in another thread, but after watching G1 from the beginning for the hundredth time, I really want Reflector (after Megatron, of course). Before the Insecticons and Constructicons were introduced it was just Megatron, Soundwave, the cassettes, the Seekers, and Reflector on Earth. He's pretty important in that regard, especially since they often filled out the Decepticon ranks with Reflector clones. He's not the most popular or fondly remembered Decepticon (his toy being released two years later as a mail-away only didn't help), but I wonder how many army-building collectors would help bolster his sales.

If a $500-600 combiner set was the only MP released that year, I could swing it. I have a feeling TT would offer them individually first to keep them affordable, maybe every other month.

    US/UK Masterpiece Soundblaster Idea

I was trying to think of ways in which Hasbro could release Masterpiece Soundblaster to the Western market (mainly because I want Ratbat without having to pay an arm and a leg to get him), when I struck on an idea - they could do a five cassette set again just using lesser known characters that can be repainted from the existing molds, For example:

    Ratbat
    Wingthing
    Enemy
    Glit/Howlback
    Sundor/Garboil

Would people be interested in this?

The thing is, that set would surely be around $120 just like TRU MP Soundwave. I got SoundBlaster & Ratbat for $130 shipped from an Asian dealer. If people passed on him then because they didn't like the price, I'm not sure they'd bite now for the same thing and a few unnecessary repaints.

I'd be in so long as any new characters were included. Ratbat would be enough, but other stuff would be icing on the cake. With Acid Storm and the rumored Sunstorm, makes you wonder about Soundblaster's odds of release in the West.

I've got Soundblaster/Ratbat, and I'd double dip for those extra cassettes.
