In third party Transformers there are "MP-like" products that are designed to fit in to a MP collection. Fanstoys Quakewave and Scoria, Cubex's Huff and Daca toys Kronos for a few.

yeah... seriously. My fingers can't seem to stop fiddling with them. It's a pity when they're meant just for display after splurging good $$ to acquire them.

Quakewave is really the only one that works so far.

Yup quakewave is top notch, but others scale too, Artfeather bumblebee looks great in alt mode and just about works in bot mode.

:useless
So I added some, hope this helps

So classics bumblebee would probably do the job, since Artfeather is a remold K.O.
Bii works great in bot mode yet the altmode is to cartoony.
I think some Alternators figures scale o.k, but the lack of G1 altmodes and the asthetic on some need to be taken into account.
Xtransbots minibots don't look too bad

[IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG]
So its really up to you, G1 toys never scaled very well anyway
And WST work quite well as toys for the larger MPs, or sidekicks like Wst Blue grimlock.

I was debating starting a thread like this, specific to non-3rd party offerings. I really have been tempted by Generations Whirl, saw him in store and I've been fighting the urge to get him ever since. A lot of the non-MP fare looks to be made with very cheap looking plastics and minimal paint, but Whirl seems to rise above and fit well with MPs.

I honestly think that Springer works quite well with MP figures.

Every MP I own is next to its G1 and WST version. Small, medium, large. Now I just need to supersize my order.

I think Alternator/BT Hound scales well to MP01 Prime. Not so much MP10.

I am debating on getting the "Citizen Stack" or waiting on the MP versions. Huff does look like he would be a good fit! And Scoria looks interesting! Thanks Craftsmith for sharing the pics! I need to look into this Springer figure.

This. GiggidyPower will probably work, too, but I'm withholding judgement until real color pics happen.

Oh, and iGear Coneheads. They're not perfect, but they're in line with MP Red Alert.

I currently have Universe 2.0 Inferno as a stand-in, but that's mainly because I really like the figure so well. He passes, but barely, and I can't say I'd recommend doing the same with it to another collector. Alert was just so lonely :lol

Aside from that, it's only a handful of third party figures. Since this is "official" toy discussion, I'll just limit my post to that.
