Wahlberg and Peltz's faces look strange. More excited than frightened. But that does make for an awesome teaser, capturing perfectly an ominous and dangerous feel. Hopefully there will be other posters featuring the new characters (Hound, Grimlock, etc), but for the moment this is probably the best of the new posters released.
ROTF, April 9th (not counting leaks, this is official release). DOTM, there's no single date, all of them were released separately but the first release was on April 24th with Sentinel.
It's clearly a giant horseshoe. Unicron in the movieverse will actually be a giant Unicorn. Unicron the Unicorn.
Why is that a bad strategy? The poster shows off the new human cast, and a huge, menacing ship. It's saying, "We have a new cast", and it's showing off some of the action to come. Part of this reboot/sequel is to bring in a new group of humans and robots, and we've been seeing that in all the posters that have been released thus far. And I personally think it's a pretty smart strategy, because I'm still seeing people say, "Shia Labeouf isn't in it?".
Here is a thought...what is the Night ship is one of many ships in the armada that actually combine to create Unicron towards the end of the film? Sorry guys...this is not spoilerish in any way, this is just theory I have that's all.
I've always liked country farmhouse movies with aliens and UFOs. Makes you feel so alone and secluded.
how?.. because they're almost the same color? otherwise, i don't see any similarities.. post a photo of a poster that you like.. i haven't liked the single human character poster.. but i think this new one is pretty awesome.
Man im tired of looking at the same stuff, lets just see one more thing that's new and I'll leave this movie alone until the first Toy goes on retail. PLEASE
They remind me more of the tripods from the 2005 remake of War of the Worlds. I don't know. Maybe it's just me.
Why do those alien ships remind me of Scorponoc?? It looks like those arms, left and right, might Transform into the sciccors of Scorponoc, the legs might fold out from underneith and the tail with the stinger... or whatever kind of Cybertronian weapon it might hold, wil unroll. That would be a awesome signt at the end of the movie as an epic final... that ship Transforming into a giant battle fortress named Scorponoc.
