This spells it out right here. In addition to that, I'm guessing you're going for a quick win of the mould since you're considering YoTH? You can also ask yourself, what if you had Takara MP-10, Hasbro MP-10, YoTH, and KO in front of you, which would you choose? Maybe that'll help you answer the wait question.

To answer your question in short, I would say YoTH. It's official and will give you the complete experience of the mould (sans Spike and Roller). You'll want the other official variations anyway (like me) Lol

Looks like the KO turned out to be a dud. Had I not had Takaras MP-10 I'd have gone for the YOTH version. ( if they were my only 2 choices ).

Pay the extra couple bucks for YOTH. It's an excellent mold, tight joints and looks at in person.

Hoping the KO comes down in price and can use it for custom fodder....

Hmmm... it looked decent on that (Paul's) review. I wonder why people are calling it a POS?

From what I can see and have read in various forums, the KO has that noticeable gap forearms. I read somewhere that replacement pieces or fixes are shipped with the product.....not too clear on that. The gap windshield is a hit or miss as some have it and others don't. There's some loose parts like the ankle. The paint looks a little bit shabby - paint chips/flakes - maybe paint wasn't fully dried before packaging. Hand can't hold the gun properly. I'm still tempted to get one just to see for myself and use it to practice some custom work.

The KO has turned out to be an epic faceplant. Before its release it was touted as a version that would fix some of the well-known issues with the mold and add some paint apps that none of the original versions had. Since its release, most reviewers have noted that those mold issues were not fixed, the paint apps are bad and/or fragile, the arms and chest can be worse than the originals, it has mitten hands instead of the articulated hands, and QC is all over the map. It was supposed to be an attractive option somewhere along the lines of iGear's PP03 series - high quality copies with mold improvements. Now it looks like it can barely match the original, landing it squarely into the "Big Lots KO" category that no one would touch for $100.

    KO or YOTH?

YOTH!. it's stunning in person and to me it is way better than mp 10. In my honest opinion, the people that bashed YOTH prime is/are ones that

    1) didn't like the color scheme or they always have the mentality that this is not all original, prime HAS to be blue/chrome and red ONLY.
I don't see why YOTH would deserve this kind of hatred treatment? There's alot of Black repaint primes and I don't see ppl complaining about those?

2)The obvious reason is that people that complained(not all but most) DIDN'T/Couldn't get Mp10 when it was released 2 years ago and NOW is angry at Hasbro/or TRU.. therefore all the hate.

    3) OR too high of a price for a variant when the original sold for $99

4)GET YOTH!, If you buy YOTH for alittle more, It will hold it's value for many years to come. If you get the KO, your money is down the drain cause it will not hold any value when you want to sell it in the future. If you're a collector you will NOT buy KO mp10 because in the end something will keep bothering you in the back of your head, that the prime you have is a fake.

    these are all my opinion

YotH and you can thank us later. Why would you spend as much on a KO that doesn't come with at LEAST a trailer? The only thing I can fault YotH Prime for is that he doesn't come with Roller.
