    ^^Cool, thanks for the details.

Seems like there's a rush - I remember hearing something about the KO Lambors having fresh paint....

    I took a crappy phone-photo - but yeah, happy with it :D

Even with the floppy ankles (side to side) he can still hold a pose - even tried a mega power stance - no worries.

Almost want to get another to do a Motormaster custom...

From the picture you posted, yeah, it looks like a decent one amongst plenty of pics of those that aren't.

I'm not happy with how the finisched product looks on most pics.
As long as the gap is not to wide and nothing is broken or missing i can till salvage this thing. The fading paint apps are an easy restore.

Not worth the money yet, but i have a curiosity for this thing so i was getting one regardless. I'll use it as a truck or as practise Optimus to hone my customising skills.
Maybe even combine the best parts with YOTH optimus.

"Some assembly required" (re: replacement parts)? And am I reading that right: it was missing tires, but came with them, or it literally did not have any tires?

Like others, get it below $50 shipped and I might check it out. Glad I snagged Hasbro MP-10 and YOTH.

Yea, so far I'm happy I gave into my impulse to get YOTH instead. If this drops $ or if there is another run that at least attempts to address the current issues, I might be tempted though.

as far as forearm gaps...looking at this thing, its a design issue. it looks like it lacks a nube where the panel folds into to "stop" against...it therefore overrotates and causes the larger gap at the end. this isn't QC IMO, it looks like they forwent a part of the original arm piece and the result is the gap.

Me too. I lucked out and got a YOTH OP (love the colors in person, pics truly do not do it justice) minty fresh from the Hasbro case last night (so minty, I almost don't want to open it). I got it for $117, which is almost just as much as this KO, and it has a trailer. With MP UM rumored to be an armored white Prime, I think my need for multiples of this mold is satisfied for the foreseeable future. I may bite if it goes less than $50 shipped.

    In need of a Mp-10

    Off topic slightly

Anyone knows where I can get an hasbro mp 10 to buy outside of ebay and bigbadtoystore that sells at a decent price? Perhaps 180 USD, I live in the UK and would be willing to pay for the international shipping as well

Ask in the Uk thread someone was offering one the other day before he sold it on ebay.

Please let us know your honest unbiased opinion please. It just seems a lot of people were just waiting to hate on this cause its a KO, but honestly in this case Hasbro deserves it as they botched one of the most in demand TF figures I can remember by not making nearly enough.

I have one pre ordered and will display in truck mode as I have extra trailer

First off excuse my english, for it is not my native language.

It is a lot better in hand than from what i saw in most pictures.
The paint apps on mine were a lot better. you have to get real close to see any faults.
I installed the new underarms which took some fiddling. You have to remove the silver strips on the under arm to attach them to the replacement. There is still a gap though. The plastic is just fine, you won't feel that you are going to break anything.
A warning though, the lid on the under arm used to fold the hands in can stressmark easely.
They made a silly mold mistake. The part connecting the shoulder and underarm was molded the wrong way around showing the inside part on the outside. This took some modefing to correct. Headsculpt looks great, you could not tell it was a KO.
The hands are the real problem. Those mittens just look strange so no pointing the arms foreward, and they forgot the tab for the gun.
So no holding that thing. They should release new hands for this thing and a better underarm replacement.
The windsheild gap is pretty small in robot mode and gone in truck mode. The stack almost feel like they are stuck. very hard to pull out.

Ultimately it's an ok figure that could have been great if they fixed the hands and underarm.
You can see that they had a lot of great ideas but flawed execution.
Mine isn't as bad as most make it out. If you put it in a detolf it's not going to be an eyesore.
So it comes down to how much are you willing to spend.
If you can get one sub $100 shipped it's not a bad deal. Above that i would wait for a second batch with fixes made.
Me, i'm not unhappy with it as is.

    Pros:
Paint apps were just fine (has more gloss than original)
    Joints were sturdy
    Plastic feels solid

    Cons:
    Gap in under arm
    No tap to hold gun
    Mittens for hand
    (re) Assembly requered
    The small windshield gap
