Okay, so I stand corrected. Still doesn't mean Galvatron felt that way. Cyclonus and Tailgate were part of the crew ( aside from being left behind ), and no one thinks they want to conquer the universe. So why do they think that of Galvatron? I've not seen any behavior of him that paints him as a genocidal despot. He's always seemingly acted in the best interest of Cybertron. He was deceived into doing bad things under the guise they were for good.

Tailgate wasn't part of the crew
. Cyclonus wasn't always as nice as he is now either... As for Galvatron, hes certainly classist....

My feeling with Galvatron role in the future is not going effect Cyclonus in the future. Cyclonus has a life on Lost Light that totally independent of his leader now and been a long time. Galvatron may try to play on Cyclonus loyalty but since his time on Lost Light it is not as strong compare to his feelings toward the crew. Right now Cyclonus is in a good place and he sings at the bar and now he has friends not just Tailgate.

This is what I was thinking, pretty much.

To prepare for the final issue coming out this week, I'm going to read all the chapters of Dark Cybertron that are out now. Really excited / nervous to see how this is all going to end.

    Very well put, Jalaguy. :thumb

Galvatron tried to force the Autobots to swear loyalty to him during Infestation, and marked them as enemies when they didn't.

That's not the behaviour of a kind-hearted fellow.

Has anyone floated the possibility that Shockwave/the Chronal Drive will end up being the Magnificence? Perhaps his intelligence will be stripped along with his body and he will be left as nothing more than a temporal singularity tempered by pure logic. It might explain how the Magnificence knows the past and future...

Shockwave apparently knew the Omega Guardians during his Senate career, so the story could be pointing in that direction. However, there is still the question of what happened to the Magnificence after the attempted Expansion...

I had forgotten about that. If it does lead into that, then kudos to the writers.

Well it does look suspiciously like the sphere that is plugged into Shockwaves chest. I think you might be bang on. Even the circles and the markings look the same.

I read the previews but I was going say that Shockwave is killing the Dead Universe by absorbing it. Nightbeat and Kup are going be effected.

Shockwave's actually draining the "life" out of the DU from its beginning of existence, causing it to be dead as it has been the whole time. It's a complete circle, really.

So Shockwave is the reason for the psst few years of stories involving the DU?

I dunno, the magnificience uses an exclamation point. Seems a little too emotional.

Ah, but all this Dark Cybertron stuff caused Shockwave to experience emotions again, around the beginning of the crossover, remember? Even if it was only fleeting :p

That panel of the Magnificence suddenly seems fitting… it's got a single 'eye'. Like another cyclops we know. (yes, of course I meant Whirl…who were you thinking of?)

as crazy as it might be, i'm pretty on board with this idea.

i mean, they look crazy similar. plus this whole event is kinda one big nod to Furman's Revelation, with the Dead Universe, Nova, Galvatron, and Cyclonus playing key parts. might as well complete it with Shockwave as the Magnificence.

That would be so cool, and it'd be even cooler if Rodimus still has the Magnificence lying around somewhere, using it as a source of information in Season 2 of MTMTE :S and it's another good storyline down the line incase if they need to bring back Shockers

I hope not. Keeping an ultimate plot device like the Magnificence around as something the characters can use at any time would be terrible, IMO, unless they do what Furman planned to and make it so there's a price for each question asked.

well, if the Magnificence is Shockwave, then wouldn't it need to be blasted back in time so Rodders and the rest can use it during Revelation anyway?

...er, never mind. i'm realizing it's probably stashed away somewhere.
