Exactly. Rodimus big flaw was that he is overly proud, adventurous, and a bit of a glory hound. That's what Prowl manipulated to get Rodimus to take Overlord aboard the Lost Light. Whoever goes with Brainstorm isn't going to be able to participate in the big epic confrontation with Shockwave. They aren't going to get the glory. They are just going to save three of their comrades.

Actually now that I think about it, it's kinda fitting Rung is in the middle of the fight. It shows that everybody is out there, from the biggest and strongest (Metroplex, Devastator) to even the least combat guys.

I wonder if Shockwave might get beaten if someone just asks him why would it matter if Cybertron exists indefinitly with none of it's inhabitants alive? What would the point be?

 

It's good to know there's going to be a lot of action in the finale. The cover looks awesome

I don't like Starscream using the word cosplay, myself. It's such a hobby-specific term (something you wouldn't use if you're not into a scene where cosplay happens), and he simply could have said 'dress up' instead.
I dunno, feels a bit like a forced, intentional shout out some fans would no doubt get a kick out of.  


But you know..reaaaaaally minor 'complaint'. I'm all for the writer and characters having some fun, so why not.

But RID's dialogue has always lacked. And like you said, it's very minor.

 

Ok this is really awesome stuff and if they do go with that shockwave/magnificence resolution I will be totally sold.

if you had told me about a month ago that I would end up being won over by dark cybertron I would have not believed you at all but it is turning into one my all time favourite transformer "epic" story arcs. I know historically many transformer epic stories end in bland waving of magic wands to defeat indestructible evil endings so you could say it hasn't got the strongest of competition but I can think of some great epic comic story resolutions like the ending of the marvel uk time wars and the remain in light is still pretty awesome.

 

What if the holy grail Alpha Trion found is the magnificence?

The "cosplay" thing sounds more like something Roberts would've written. Nudge, nudge, wink, wink to the audience is kinda standard territory for him.

Starscream, does not strike me as type who go to cosplay venue, In some ways he not a geek or into that kind of entertainment. It is a bit out of char.

 

I wasn't that keen on it, even if he'd said 'dress up' it would have felt a little better. I wasn't too struck on the whole Meg's, Galv,s et al last issue either, it just feels a touch out of place to me. I'll just put it down to the Tardis effect and it's not going to unduly bother me.

 

in an issue of mtmte whirl asked rewind to film him for his biography film called harder faster wrecker. the arcee scenes in that could be seriously wrong given the title
