Oh, well, even better. I thought the discrepancy in dates was bizarre. Previews is always later than online, but not by 3 months.

As for battra, looks cool, but I'm gonna pass. I don't like figures that NEED flight stands.

I was just looking at the bluefincorp.com web site today since I was curious to see if they had any good deals on some Godzilla figures when I noticed that when you try to login, it says "Webstore is for retailers only". What does this mean? I bought a first edition Godzilla from them only a couple of months ago. Does this mean regulars buyers can no longer purchase anything from the site? I tried to login earlier, but the site no longer remembers my account.

There's a difference between Bluefin Premium Home page, the recently launched online store, and Home page, which has always been a site for displaying available products and for interested retailers to place orders only.

I've only handled Kiryu for a little bit, but so far I am immensely impressed. Blows the Chogokin version - expected, it's a decade old - out of the water in terms of expressiveness and articulation. I haven't snapped on all the weapons yet, but already one of my favorites.

Got my first monster arts figure in the mail today. I regret not collecting these since the line started because now i get to play catch-up. Picked it up used for pretty good deal i think. would never be able to tell, even still has that new toy smell.

Looks like my local comic store got some deal with Bluefin and got some products in stock from them. Found Godzilla 2000 and Kiryu. I also found Mechagodzilla but I already have one.

Isn't Godzilla 2000 supposed to be like neon green? Mine looks more gray than green. Which I don't mind since I prefer grey Godzilla over green Godzilla LOLZ

The movie was a brighter green, but this SHMA is based on the concept art.

He was neon green in Megaguirus with pink fins, not 2000.

    So?

You're acting like there's some MASSIVE disconnect between Godzillas over the ages. It makes me laugh, as someone who's far more casual with big G, to see fans call a design TERRIBLE when it's virtually identical to the standard, with minor proportion tweaks.

Really, when you compare Godzilla designs and how they've evolved verses, say, Optimus Prime over the years, Godzilla has remained shockingly faithful to the original concept. Modern versions aren't so much redesigns as simply the original idea with the technology of that time. 2014 Godzilla looks just like Godzilla should. The most RADICAL departure is his feet, which are a little nubbier to look more realistic. But, like, his tail? His spikes? His posture? His head? All very traditional. Maybe the head is a bit more like an actual lizard and less like the cookie monster. But again, I hesitate to call that a redesign so much as just something that comes with the age of technology. We typically want to make stuff match real life if the goal is to make it seem realistic. 2014 Godzilla is no more a departure from Godzillas before as, say, 2000 was from the 90's version. In fact, Legendary Godzilla is almost like the ULTIMATE Godzilla, taking inspiration from EVERY version.

It's just hilarious to see such bellyaching over the TINIEST of things when TF fans now have an Optimus who has almost no indication that he turns into a truck in his robot mode design, and are actually generally positive about it. Perspective, people.

I like guys in rubber suits acting like giant monsters. That is my only reservation about Godzilla 2014. Other than that it looks to be pretty good. The design is a bit of a change but still well within the acceptable look for me. Where are our monsterarts 2014? it would be useful to see for my purchasing decisions.

Damn it all. Checked amazon randomly and saw that the alien warrior was $37.50, but I decided to watch a review first. Five minutes later it was back up to $48.

The wait to buy continues. Shouldn't have hesitated.

Isn't that we asked for? We did like the improvements Burning Godzilla had over the original and we did wish for it to be repainted to a normal Godzilla, and here we are. We will get what we wanted.

Might actually get that mold now that I'm not forced to look at that awful mismatching tail.
