I know Dr. Wu made the "Metalstorm" gun for Classics/Henkei Convoy, but the black version's been long since sold out. Anybody know of any other good Prime-esque rifles that can be used with this fig? The Dr. Wu twin Prime Blasters look pretty cool, but I don't know if they'd fit. Thanks!
The one that came with Faith Leader or one from a gears of war accessory set w/ LED lights. That or shapeways.
Yeah, the Gears of War 2 set has been sold out for a while. Not sure I would have bought it anyway, just for one gun. That Art of War Hero Rifle looks awesome, though. Thanks for the tip! Will keep an eye out for it.
Yep, I've got one of those… great with Classics Optimus, WFC Optimus, IDW Orion Pax… Wu's Metal Storm pops up every now & then on eBay. Usually it's the silver one, but I've seen the black one before. Might also check the Junkion section here.

The BTS upgrade set for G1 Optimus Prime included a rifle, which has a 5mm port on it right? It's available at Robot Kingdom, also includes a jet pack and an axe. Thanks for the info! Just placed an order myself. I thought I'd have to wait for one to pop up on eBay. Yeah, that's a reason I was sort of wary about Dr. Wu's version. Diecast is fine when it's used appropriately, but Henkei/Classics Prime has no ratcheting joints. I was worried it would weigh down or loosen the arm.
The best looking G1 rifle is by far TFC's Gear of War 2 set. Makes Prime look like a beast with that bad ass rifle.
