I believe so. I mean, this Onslaught is voyager sized (compared to Has/Tak's deluxe). Combining them into Bruticus doesn't shrink him any. Athough I do not think the size difference will be massive (however definitely noticeable).

The head looks a lot better than the stock one, so I am pleased they have added it.

totaly missed the different head, we really are getting a lot of bang for our buck here, i didnt even notice that the chest was completelly different the first time around.

There is not any mention of an extra head for Swindle. Hopefully this helps clear things up some.

It only mentions that its "armor." Like Brawl gets new fists and leg bits, but it doesn't mention that and groups it under "foot upgrade armor" just like Swindle. Swindle gets a new chest piece and guns, and maybe a head (of which doesn't need a color change to work with both sets).

I still wouldn't get your hopes up though.

Can you even transform Swindle so his head sticks up when the front of the vehicle mode is on his back? From what I can tell the original mold attaches the head to the top of the vehicle, so when he's transformed to the state where the new chest plate will attach there is no way his current head can get to where its at in the pictures.

 

the head is part of the foot upgrade for swindle. it is labeled 01 in the picture. it is the "toe" piece of the foot which doubles as swindle's new chest

 

So buying that guy! I wan not planning on buying FOC Bruticus ... but this changed my freakin' mind!

 

The yellow one is Swindle, the green one is Brawl, the chopper one is Vortex, and the other one is Blastoff.

 

Awesome news! Now all we need is for them to slightly tailor the combined mode head and we're sorted!  


On the issue of Swindle's mug, hopefully this will clear up any confusion:



(The head is connected to, and folds out from inside, the chest piece, which becomes the toe of Bruticus's foot - as several people above have mentioned.)

Thanks for reposting that. I've been trying to figure out if Swindle was getting new arms as well and the colored shots weren't clear on it. Now I know. No new arms for Swindle. Wasn't necessary but I wasn't sure.

 

Looking at it, if they didn't want Brawl's hand and crotch pieces to just be solid black (and I can see why they went for a splash of colour to break them up) then they could use a dark silver / gunmetal colour where the green is now - which wouldn't be too bad a match for retail or SDCC/Platinum's accents on the shins, etc.

Yup. I've got him. He kinda sucks but oh well.  

 

I really hope he's a heavy dude - to make up for the hollowness of his teammates...

 

Too heavy and he would just feel out of place though don't you think?
