    This custom Mastermind Creations MMC Bovis aka not predacon Tantrum is a commissioned piece for a great client of mine.

    Client let me go free on this one, so I did the custom in my high detail styling. A lot of extra care went into the project because about 40% of this figure is made of Polyoxymethylene (POM) which does not hold paint under rough handling; to the point some people have exaggerated it that it cannot be painted.

    Considering the potential disaster just painting a Bovis could have been, I really appreciate the client's faith in allowing me to go out on this figure with highlights and shading. In the end, both the client and I are very pleased with the final result and how everything came out. I hope you guys feels the same as well.

    what did you do to remedy painting the figure, you had mentioned it was difficult to paint on? Btw stupendous job, I can't tell but in the bulls eyes under his eye is that a dark grey or like a darker shade of red

    Awesome work man, the colors are perfect. I have one of these that I'm debating on painting, I haven't opened it yet though, how is the build quality on these?

    Thank you and yes that is a possibility at this time.

    Yes, if you the plastic is known for that property.

    I used a darker shade of red under the bulls eyes.

    The build quality is good. The figure is great I have one in my personal collection. The POM does limit what you can do with the figure, I guess you will see when you try to paint him.

    So is it worse than the newer Hasbro plastic? I had one hell of a time with adhesion issues on BH Smokescreen, that stuff was miserable. What type of paint did you end up going with?

    Yes, I used patrca to prime instead of my normal primer.

    I saw this posted in the Feral Rex thread..........jaw dropping stuff.
    The paint apps are absolutely flawless, they make such an incredible difference to an already great figure!!
