While it was a price mistake and you definitely are in the right to cancel preorders based on your preorder terms, I think with only 7 ordered you should have either honored the price or at least given a coupon code of some sort for a smaller discount or future order. But I'm probably just bitter since I was one of those 7 hahaha!

Ha, i was one too! My warped sense of value tells me that $200 ish for one figure is waaay too much, but the $148 was just right. Oh well, i can wait.

 

I saw the price too and went to the website, but it was already a higher price. I figured it had to be a typo. Would have been nice for fans, i suspect the site would have been flooded with preorders at that price!

 

Here's my question why can't we get a lower price point on this figure like Quakewave? Which I only paid about $159 for.

 

Already been answered. It's alot bigger and has alot more parts so naturally it'll cost more.

We all pretty much know what we're getting with scoria and I don't think there is anything really new to see. Wish they would go ahead and show us some stuff from who's next.

I feel like sludge would have similar engineering with slag compared to swoop and snarl. Correct me if I am wrong.

 

The transformation for G1 Sludge was a lot like Grimlock if I remember correctly.

 

I reckon Sludge and Snarl will both have similar engineering in that their dino legs will fold away and be hidden. I can see Sludge being on the 'thinner' side too so he doesn't have hulking great lower legs. Snarl on the other hand should be pretty close to his G1 dino self as all his size could be used in his upper body and not look too ridiculous or hinder articulation.

Yeah I can see Grimmy and Sludge sharing alot. Similar wings, dino heads tucked down their backs....it's just Grimmy never had dino leg kibble hanging off so that'll be where the Slag style would come in. I wouldn't be surprised to see them borrow MP08's tail transformation for Sludge/possible future Grimmy too.

 

I do hope they were able to honor the people that got in on it though. Not their faults for ordering when they saw a good price.

And paying 160 for QW (which I think was a perfect price point when compared directly to official product), $30 bucks more for a bigger figure with more parts seems like it's worth the extra. Of course we won't know til it's in hand, but that's what it feels like right now to me.

 

I can see that now, realistically it is almost a mashup of Grimmy and Slag
