Trust me I've been looking on ebay just about everyday and still no luck.

 

Headed over to the Family Dollar about 2 blocks from my house to see how much they were...The had like 2 of each, but they were 6.50 each so I skipped it. Would much rather have one voyager whirl than one of each of these.

 

The art looks like the Generations Legends versions.

 

Ah yes, this is what will move these terrible fucking toys! Wasting money on new packaging!

The new packaging is gorgeous. I'll like this year if that's what I see on the shelves every time I walk by. Although dang, they're milking these molds for all they can get

Also kinda lame Optimus and Starscream don't come with the extra weapons like the previous legends re-release....

If Hasbro are spending enough money to revamp the Legends packaging for the new look, it's probable that the AoE legion figures aren't cancelled after all.

Damn, I must not be looking hard enough.

 

When these were first showing up at Dollar General stores a year or two ago, I was hoping Hasbro would use this as a way to re-release several of the older G1 Legends figures, as well as repaints. Brawn, Jazz, Hound, Skywarp, Beachcomber. And especially the original G1 deco of this Bumblebee mold, which is actually pictured in alt mode on these new packages.

 

Yup, you're right. This Bumblebee has a slightly different deco. I wonder if the other two have any differences we can't see here.

 

Me too. Back then I thought I could settle with having the trio as legends figures. Then they announced the Ace Seeker Set and I rather bought the trio as classics molds than trying to get all three as Legends.

 

Selling them with the weapons would make me want them a lot more.

Cheeky to use the IDW art from the other toys though.

They'd have been better of making new Colour F-15's with the weapons though such as Acid Storm, or Sunstorm or even making a Skywarp easier to get.

I also think there might be some interest if they sold these things sprayed or chromed like a G2 Minibot - 'just for fun'.

Did they loose the Legion Cosmos mould down the back of a sofa or something ?

Just bought the old packaging legends prime last night for parts at a Doller general for $6. Just wondering if they're cheaper or not

 

Nice packaging, but pity they've skimped on including the weapons. Plus there are far more sought after G1 character Legion molds they could've reissued.
