I'm impressed. He does retain the general Cy-Kill look, but have changed it enough that it doesn't look bad like the original Gobot. Some very cool features. I'd consider this.

Wonder what size he'll be. I'd hope he's pretty small, maybe a scout.

EDIT: just scanned through the thread, saw the preorder stuff. At that price, he'd better not be a scout. Since I don't want a motorcycle bigger than the compact cars in my collection, guess that's die more saved money. But it does look cool.

No affinity for Gobots, but this intrigues me because I like things that turn into motorcycles. Looks to be roughly Voyager size, but I kind of wish it were a tad smaller. Will wait for more pics to decide whether I need a $99 Gobot homage.

LOL I was wondering what UT's new proyect was going to be. Maniaking was really interesting and I almost got it.

    Gobots are getting hot!

I'd rather this was a big Deluxe, much like like RTS Wreckgar or Generations Junkheap. That way, other Deluxe figures can ride Salmoore. Get two Salmoores and have him ride himself into battle, Junkions-style! I suppose Voyager works too so other Voyager figures could potentially ride him.

Difference is that this actually looks like CyKill versus a lazy palette swap.

I'd be way more into this if the wheels didn't part-form. For $100 I expect more.

That bike mode is killer, though.

The shoulder wheels are big, but then, the Wreckgar mold had big shoulder wheels too. I think this is a better solution to the wheel kibble rather than the original mold with its giant wheel backpack (as I recall, Robot Chicken went as far as to poke fun at the kibble by having ol' Cykill roll around on his back in bot mode laughing maniacally after stealing a plate of cookies, lol).

Yes, they made KOs of the Universe Sideswipe, Classic Starscream and Mirage, Animated Arcee and some others, and then KO'd the Protector armor as CHMS.

Also, since DX9 is Unique Toys, then those Animated Accessories DX9 teased as Unique Toys products too.

At this rate they'll turn out more products than any other third parties soon!

I really perfer to get official Transformers but I'll gladly buy Third party items like side characters play sets and frigging Go-bots. Now we really need a MP Megatron to stop square off with this guy.

Hegemon vs. Salmoore seems like the perfect matchup.

I bet this is a dual purpose mold, and there is a Wreck-Gar version of it following!
