I think what I meant is (in universe wise) what does Dreadwing have to live for......honestly I see nothing.

That and I think he's overrated as hell.

I actually liked Silas as a character. That man was equipped with balls of steel and had not a single fuck to give.
I decided I liked him when he looked at Starscream and said "do you ever NOT talk?"

 

Me too.


Silas was like the small but cunning David to Megatron's powerful but blundering Goliath.


But then i liked NEST too.

MECH was always going to be second fiddle to the Decepticons, so let's have them join up permanently. Silas arc can carry on as it did minus his killing everybody, and Soundwave ends up with a squad of elite terrorist commandos at his disposal.

Arcee kills Airachnid. Victory is hollow and doesn't bring her the closure she thought she would get. Use as emphasis for why she won't kill Starscream.

Replace Hardshell with Breakdown in Toxicity. Actually find out just what Breakdown did that was so fucking bad.

 

If the MECH storyline had had complete resolution as many seem to have wanted i would have been bored out my nut. The fact that it's, MECH is, cut down abrubtley is kinda cool because it feels more like realism than neatly orchistrated storylines.

I likd their intro, best bit, then we had Breakdown and some other stuff, finally Cylas Breakdown and yeah thanks because that was all we needed. It was plenty to divert from the main storyline.

I dont mind not knowing what happens to Arachnid and the Insecticons or Breakdown and Bulk. They could have done more with Optimus and Megatron and the grounds for war.

One thing... for me....

Optimus Prime. Still got his heroics and leader like ways but...... He was one boring muthafuka.

 

I really want to see megatron in robots in disguise, I want to see more of his character.

 

I voted for the Insecticons, Optimus, and Megatron. I chose Optimus and Megatron since I always love sinking my teeth into a good plot line around those two and their clash. I would have loved to see Megatron do more and Optimus have more thoughts on the conflict, fleshing him out a bit better.

As for the Insecticons, I wanted more variety, I was disappointed when they were all pretty much Hardshell clones with Hardshell being the only one with a sense of personality but got killed off way too quickly. He should have stuck around longer and maybe have more than just him show forms off intelligence instead of just yelling like a drunk dying horse as they get killed off since they were pretty much Vehicons 2.0 minus the talking.

 

It has to Megatron for him to call and end to cons the way he did. Optimus story will develop if it is to develop anyway.

All those other stories, no intrest in them whatsoever. They were fine the way they left them in the show.

I don't remember much. But there was A LOT of potential that was just hinted at and nothing made of. Pretty much everything that had me interested was not important in the show or just left behind after 2 or 3 episodes and never mentioned again.

 

I can't really vote in any of those, the writers proved over and over how weak they were in character-writing AND plot-handling, I don't feel like seeing any of those ideas mishandled further.

 

Oh right the whole Trypticon being the Nemesis, you know I don't get why the Prime writers wanted to ignore that idea and insist that the ship talks for no reason. It would add a whole new layer of interest and give meaning to why the ship hated Megatron so much, after all Megatron is the one that ordered for him to be permanently placed in his alt form, with his conscious locked away as punishment for his failure. It would give the audience an understanding of the characters instead of "Oh... the ship's alive and hates Megatron... no reason all it just does."

As much as I love the Prime series, I have to admit that the writers really made a mess of things and caused some characters to be wasted like Cliffjumper and Hardshell.
