awesome! snagged doubledealer and whirl with the code from HTS for 46$ with shipping AND tax. Tons cheaper than driving around not finding anything, but it kinda ruins the thrill of the hunt.

 

Just got back from Walmart. Ultimate BH Optimus is now down to $15.00. Quite the drop from $60.

Guess you could price match at Target. They are still $27 in store while their site is $19.99 for some of them. While the price isn't that much cheaper than others, it saves a few bucks for other purchases.

Walmart's website still shows it in the $40 range. Do you have a pic of the receipt so I can haggle with the stores' customer service? I guess walmart won't pricematch to online offers...so that means it's a no-go for target and amazon online. It sucks that my local target is out of this figure also... :-/

I have to agree. I bought him @ $25 and... ugghh. He's just so disappointing. He's basically a Voyager, but clunkier and with more missile launchers (yay?). His transformation is pretty lame, too. Really, I'm just trying to warn you guys, as he takes up a lot of space and is pretty mediocre. So buy with caution!

My 2 yr old hates it. He prefers the Power Ranger Zords with mix and match limbs. I've been looking to Power Rangers for gestalt combiners, as Hasbro has failed pretty hard in that area.
But my kid wasn't impressed by that Ultimate Optimus at all. No sounds, no lights... Plus, why the heck does Optimus have to be so big again?

Apparently there's a Target Cartwheel deal for 50% off of BH Ultimate Optimus for today only. According to the info I got (from my wife), some Targets are selling them for $20, effectively making this a $10 toy... For those interested. My local Targets are still selling them for $45 (as of this weekend, at least), so this won't be the same deal for everyone.

 

The one I saw over the weekend had lights...

 

They are selling it for 19.49 on target.com so you only have to price match Targets own website.

 

If they won't match off of their own website, Amazon has it for the same price.

 

Looks like Targets in the area are starting to get Darksteel and other Predacons Rising figures back in stock as they clear out the warehouse in anticipation of the movie stock coming in. There is a 15% of Cartwheel good into next month off these figures, so watch for potential clearances to combine with it.

 

Target took the $19.49 pricematch from their site then reduced it by the 1/2 off coupon from cartwheel. Final bill was btw $10-11 with tax, etc. Good deal. Now I need to do that hand mod and remove that crappy wheel thing on his back. I wonder what I could do with that piece though?

 

Saw one at Target and even with the pricematch and coupon I still passed.
