    Finally got mine today!

Holy God snapping those wrists into place the first time is scary hard!

Also the instructions fail to mention that you need to unscrew the heads to swap. I have a stress mark on Cogwheel's neck because I assumed it would just pop off.

I definitely prefer Cogwheel to have the G1 toy head.

Fun little guys to tinker around with!

My only complaint is that it's difficult to get Cogwheel to stand as his heels don't touch the ground. Also the wrists (especially Trashtalk) pop off easily.

You don't necessarily need to unscrew the heads, you just gotta tilt them back and the pop em off at the front of the neck hole. I was about to unscrew them for fear of breaking the neck post, but tilting & popping worked.

That's unfortunate. I'm right by you (Arlington) and my mailman trudged through the snow and delivered my Action Robo package yesterday. I was only home to sign for it because the snow closed my office! I need to remember little bits of good fortune like this the next time I feel like the world is conspiring against me.

Also, these guys are fantastic. I didn't think I would like this Gears, but he is almost as great as Swerve. And better at handling the Shoomer.

I went to tilt and pop and that's when the stress mark started. I wasn't putting the pressure there either. Much easier to unscrew.

That's why you should watch reviews first. Unscrew them a bit, not all the way and take them off. It's safer and doesn't put stress on the neck joint. Also there are alternate ways to take the head off. One is by popping the whole chest out, or by removing the canopy off.

Might work with extensive retooling. But any Windcharger with the sort of gimpy legs of Tailgate in MTMTE, or his pudgy body, is no Windcharger I'd pay for.

I've found an easier way that isn't harrowing. Pop off the hands. Then take a retractable ball point pen & use it to press on the ball joints.

    Click N done.

The mailman actually delivered the Daca Toys Heads today!! and NOT These guys!?? WTF!?!?! -.- :banghead:  :banghead:  :banghead:  :banghead:  The thing is Nemesis251 bought my Gears from me and gave me the money and I wanted him to have his Gears already but damn USPS...!@#$% :banghead:

Twelvesam, do you know if your mail is routed through 900 Brentwood Road? That place is so disorganized its insane. I did not get any mail for a week because they had trouble getting the mail sorted properly for some reason. When I told them to hold my stuff, and I spent $40 for a cab ride there and back, they sent it out for delivery instead but still was never delivered!!

Yeah as someone else said, they sold at Actionrobo for $50 for the pair plus $10 for the MFB. Then $18 shipping. I ended up paying $78 basically at the end.

They are back in stock at Action Robo, but the price has bumped up. The set jumped from $49.90 to $69.90. MFB is still $9.99.

Glad I jumped in & got a set early, but I plan to see Cogwheel & an extra MFB I've got. With the price bump, you might want to just settle with a MFB. You can order up to 3 from Action Robo & still have s/h only be $18. So if you can split your order up with 2 other people, you might save a bit over BBTS or anybody else.

I must say, I enjoyed my experience w/ Action Robo. If I ever need to import directly again, I might use them.

Holy crap. A $20 price jump? Okay that's pushing it to me. I don't think I'd say these guys are worth $90 after shipping and without MFB.

I'm not that huge on the MFB, but even so its approx 70 bucks for the two of them. That 20 jump really makes me reconsider it. At 35 a figure that's just a little much. I'll wait to see what Tony's price will be but I'm not that optimistic haha

Maybe BBTS/TFSource complained that an Asian seller was selling the set for much cheaper. They did it before with the iGear Sharks, and Chimungmung got in trouble with iGear.

Finally got these guys today, and man, I love them so. Just a note on Peaugh's review: he says you have to unscrew the body to swap out the heads but you in fact do not. I'm not sure if he has since retracted that statement but just like TJ Duckett's review, they just pull apart, no unscrewing needed. The head yes, the body, no.

This robot loves a good quest.

Just what a fella who looks like G2 Sideswipe needs. Good lad, Swerve.

I can't see what could possibly go wrong here, my boy.

Dunno why Gears is up here after the skinful he had earlier. History dictates that accidents happen on this balcony.

Is anyone having problems with the wrists? They're really loose on mine and don't really stay in place, like when I make them hold the gun sideways it just falls down easily.

Do you mean the wrist panels, or the hands being wobbly on the ball-joint?

Sounds more like the latter, and if that's the case: clear nail polish or any of the other known remedies for wobbly ball-joints. Paint a coat in the socket or on the ball-post (or both) and let dry before reassembling, should fix it right up. Mine are a little loose, but tend to hold a pose well so I haven't added any polish yet.
