I'm with CP as well, since they were my best option back then before PSX existed or I was aware of Tony's site. Sucks as I know that poor Sidecutter is gonna be dead last on the list of places to get him, predicting at least a months gap between psx and cp getting Talon but oh well thems the breaks. Mines fully paid for so would be dickish of me to cancel over mere impatience. I might just say eff it and order a second Talon from psx to get him sooner since I kinda want two of him anyway as I'd love a second set of wings and a 2nd arm while I wait for Tigris.

Planet Steel Express----the closest thing to an "official" store for MMC.

I adhere to alot of your sentiments. I think after 30 years it's time to retire and start collecting a pension. Transformers has brought me alot of joy even though it's been sporadic since 1984. 2014 is my last hooray and luckily there are enough figures right now that I want to keep me going till 2015. After that I don't see myself doing this anymore. It has been a fun ride and the fans are really innovative to come up with all this stuff.

Awesome Bovis you got there deaculpa! Chonosmoon did a terrific job!!!

I’m also thinking of ending my collecting days this year. My initial idea was to end it last year but the 3P stuff coupled with the awesome anime robots by Sentinel and Fewture have kept me glued.

I’ve grown tired of the Bandai SOC line (they don’t invite you to play with them, just to have them as statues) and the Macros valks are starting to look all the same to me and the transformation, while engineering marvels, are irritating as fuck (plus they get really loose, same as the SOC). With the transformers toys I’ve had better times; I realized this with Bovis and how much fun I’ve had with similar Tf toys.

Acknowledging this, and narrowing my purchases down mainly to MPs and 3P combiners has been great... Sad thing is that I already have a gigantic collection of stuff and can’t fit much more. Even if I get rid of some Gundams, valks and SOC (hard for me since I’ve grown attached to some of these statues lol) I still open myself for the never ending thing that is collecting. We all know that some day Takara will do a new MP Prime or there is always room for a redux of certain character before 3Ps end.

I think that starting collecting right now would have been great. MP and 3P MP/combiner/high quility TFs are getting better than ever plus Sentinel is doing the best anime robots right now (fuck Bandai really lol)... but you have to put your foot down someday or get swallowed by a never ending impulse to get “cool toys”.

The more I look at Bovis, the more I'm thinking I need two of each there's no way in hell. I can just relegate that awesome of a toy to being a limb. I wont have room on my mp shelf for Predaking because of his height so having the Predacons on foot, will just have to do.

I know many here are here for anything and everything Transformers (there was a time when I wish I could do that), sadly that's not a collection for me. I'm only collecting MPs and combiners, and a few standout favorites.

My collecting, for the most part, will carry on with my sons toys:)

He looks at My Feralcons, TFC Toys' Hercules and FP's Stunticons and wishes they were his, and someday they will be. Robots and the Transformers is a bonding force of ours, so I guess I'll never really be gone.

I figure many who are out or are on their way out will be back when MMC announces their own take on Terrorcons and Seacons:eek:

I feel you on this one.. I preordered 2 of each of the Feralcons because of that same reason. Need to display the combined form as well as individual bots. Might do a repaint of 1 set and go black and gray. I remember seeing a rendering on this thread and it looked pretty cool.

    Hey Turnman,

thanks for sharing. On the Macross stuff, are you in the MacrossWorld Forum, and if so, what is your username? Mine is Arthurius. Anyways, I love my macross collection but they are more display than a toy I can always pick up and transform or play with like Bovis / Fortis for example. Got my Quakewave and Feral Rex and Hex, which are all a lot of fun, not only display.

Will you really be quitting this year though, after FR? No MMC Seraph and Fembots? No FT Dinos to join your MP-08X, No MP Megs / Galv ? Seems like you need at least another year or two extra to wrap it up ;) .

Yeah. Is that lighting or does that faction symbol fade? Makes a nice accent.

Its the symbol, its the cybertronian glow set. When tilted or hit with the right light, it looks like that.
