And you are only going to have Bovis and Leo Dux done up like this?! Crazy! This looks beautiful, man. Really, really beautiful. Money aside, I can't see how one stops at two:confused:

No, not all the feralcons :)
I can see my collecting coming to an end sometime this year, I chose bovis because he was really a game-changer in the TF world. I chose Leo because he was my favorite feralcon. The other customs I've commissioned were just little side projects I wanted before I quit collecting, but it's been a great journey.
I've made a great friend in Chonosmoon, he's a real artist and not a painter, and an all around great guy. And some of the behind the scenes guys at some of the third parties have turned out to be great guys too, really cool.

I would hate to see you go. I guess at some point we all call it quits. Was there a certain point in your collecting you wanted to reach and if so is feral rex your last figure to collect?

It looks great but I question the paint you choose for the face. For my tastes it is too dark. To me it looks like Bovis has a full beard now.

I hope I haven't shed light on something that can't be unseen from now on. :)

On the other hand I could be a terrible racist because because I feel uneasy in the presence of dark plated robots

no, not really. i started wanting just an 86 movie cast. 4 detolfs later i just notice that ive started posting less and less, and im interested in fewer and fewer figures. i havent consciosly chosen to stop collecting, my attention is just being drawn to a different area. :)
ill probably still collect the MPs.

Whatever you do dont get rid of your collection. Mine were stolen years ago and I just recently got back into collecting and its like starting at the bottom of the mountain. Lucky for me I'm not into g1 anymore. Now its mp and 3rd party so hunting is easier. Good to have met u though

I will never get rid of my collection, it's far too personalized, which I value a lot. In any future relationship I will ensure that I have my own "office", in which the detolfs will stay. She can have her own office with all her cabbage patch kids or whatever.

I've collected a few other things, I'm kind of partial to vinyl toys. But I believe in toys, I feel like a 35 year old boy. sorry i just like them.
These homies hold down the guest bathroom.

Btw, I'm not done collecting YET. Just sayin, the end is near, heh. Also, I never intended to buy a predaking. This project was just a boner, er, bonus.

that's awesome deaculpa, Chonosmoon's work is great. i'll echo the sentiment that i'd be sad to see you go permanently.

focus is always a good thing though, and i applaud it.

I'm with ya, i will never get rid of my collection either. If anything it gets passed down to my son. My collectables are just that and now they are actually apart of my decoration decor in my house. I finished with gundams and only have a few more anime figures to get. Other than that, its just transformers from here on out.

I feel the same way, Deaculpa. I have all this awesome shit... I'm good with this. It's enough. It's as complete as I have ever imagined it would be. I'll go to tfcon Chicago, get shitfaced, binge shop, and retire on top like Ray Lewis.

Oh, wow dude thanks for the compliment. =)

Anyways, for real man? Going to quit collecting or just thinking about it?

I thought about quitting collecting awhile back and actually kind of did... Instead I just realized my tastes changed, mainly due to the quality of MP and Third Party Figures.. Pretty much I just narrowed my collecting to what meets my tastes & standards, not by "collect em all", what's popular or by other peoples opnion.

Now my collection is smaller yet so much more rewarding to have.
