Roadbuster looks fantastic, but $25 AND clipped wheels makes me choke.

If it wasn't for the kiddy-size heads of the constuct-bots I'd buy Construct-Bot Grimlock. I might get him if there's a sale for him. Like 50% off.

Love the Dinobots, but WTF is up with the color choices? I know they're toys, but us serious collectors want accurate colors schemes. I thinking Dinobots should be same colors as Classic and WFC Grimlock, ie gray, gold, black.

And then Evasion mode OP, G1 looks nothing like that rusty old truck!

I'm still kinda surprised that a Deluxe Lockdown wasn't shown off, or at least confirmed. I'm also kinda surprised that the only Deluxe Bumblebee on-display was old-car Bee. His alt-mode looks great, but I'm not liking how his bot-mode turned out. I'm loving his new design, so I'd love to see what a Deluxe of it would look like.

Many of the DOTM Deluxes and Voyagers were repaints, though:

    Fireburst Prime
    Red Ironhide
    Cyberfire Bee
    Darksteel
    Rescue Ratchet
    Thundercracker

It sounds like the AOE Generations line will have few repaints, if any.

I'm really disappointed about the lack of Cyberverse, too. But my bank account is pretty happy about it.

I thought the entire point of recasting the bots was so that they weren't just making the same TFs over and over. So instead of seeing updated versions of the previous guys, we get... Nothing? I'm really going to miss those spinoff movieverse guys. What a shame.

Actually, now that I think about it, it does sound like the AOE Generations is going to end up being just as much as DOTM, taking into account the specification of "this year."

Regardless, I hope you're right, because that means more slots for new molds, which means a higher chance of some new versions of characters that need new toys (or a toy at all).

I think some listings somewhere had something about Cyberverse. Not sure, though.

Well said. Also, for those worrying about there only being four named Decepticons in AOE (Galvatron, Lockdown, Stinger, and whoever Wolf is) don't forget the AOE helicopter that's unnamed for spoiler reasons, and the $9.99 One Step Changers line featuring movie characters that will have 18 figures in all. Since there are many of those that have not been seen, I guarantee there are a few Decepticon characters in that line that have not been revealed yet. Also, some may show up as collector's toys in early 2015.

I just don't understand why some people keep complaining. In other movie years, it was like:"Whaaaa, why they stop releasing Generations!!!!". Now, that Hasbro is keeping the Generations line full of classic characters IN A MOVIE YEAR, with all the on-screen characters getting a toy acording to them, it's like: "Whaaaa, why so few movie toys?"

Because apparently in order to do that, they basically scrapped an entire line right down to only cast characters. One of the reasons I liked the movie line was because we got a lot of TFs in the movie aesthetic, whether they were on screen or not. And lets be honest here, on screen means fucking nothing considering 2/3 of the movies are dedicated to humans and comedy.

Good point, I just wish they would have shown off what should probably be the best figure of the rumored main villain of this new movie. I'm hoping he get's a figure on-par with those of Drift and Crosshairs, who's Deluxes I think look great.

I'm also kinda worried about how the new hotness Bee turns out. He's had a history of... well... mostly bad Deluxe figures. The old Bee on display doesn't help. That said, if the Deluxe doesn't turn out well, there's always that bust that's coming out...
