I will have those 4 deluxe figures, and that Megs.

The Prime looks nice but I'd rather pay Voyager Price than Leader PRice.

As for why no Voyager figure pics?

Isn't this a promotional catalogue that came with the Protoform/Preview Starscream?

So its just a taste of whats to come.

    Wow...

Im friggin impressed, I like all of them....I hope I can get all, but if not I settle for the Leader class Ops and Megs.....And I don't know if its me but their faces have a lot of character and are more G1ish than I thought...Like Brawl...kinda looks like a bald guy with a mustache and sunglasses....??? or is that me....

I'm glad to see the vast majority of the fans here liking these figures. While there may be some minor quibbles here and there, it's overall a positive response. And for the majority of those who don't like it, they at least are giving GOOD constructive explanations as to why not.

Not that it means anything, but I'm impressed!

Barricade doesn't, but Brawl does. Although it could be entirely different because Brawl has specific parts(treads) that automatically move. It's not the same as Ratchet's expanding leg mass thing. So you could be on to something. Have we heard of Bumblebee having such a thing?

Well, the heads still don't look humanoid enough and I still think the heads look like insect heads (or at the very least animal heads...Jazz's looks like a bat). I'll admit, the poster makes them look better than before, HOWEVER, I still don't think this is the look the TF movie designers should have went with. The characters just seem forgettable. For those that say Prime looks fat, I agree. I don't like his knees being bent the wrong way either, much like insect legs. Megs still reminds me of something I'd see a Megazord fighting in Power Rangers and apart from him being silver, I can't recognize him as Megatron in any way. I do like the alt mode kibble on Prime and the others, but I just think that most of the kibble will be eliminated on the CG characters, which isn't a good thing. I just don't think any of these will warrant my money, but they look better than before.

Protoform Starscream's alt mode is kinda lame, but we knew that. I'm impressed at how much more he resembles G1 Starscream than the F-22 Raptor version.

I LOVE Optimus Prime. That vehicle mode is gonna be HUGE. It's the best looking Prime vehicle mode since Masterpiece. And do my eyes deceive, or are those "Real Rubber Tires?!" :) )

I LIKE Megatron. I really wish I could see his face. Moreso, when do we get to see his Earth Mode toy? ;)

Bumblebee? Pass. Looks cheap with the painted windows.
    Barricade? Like it lots.
Brawl? Maybe as a deluxe, but it's too busy at that size. Proportions are wacked.
    Jazz? Ohhh, silky love.

Megatron is interesting, I want to see his arm cannons in action! Jazz looks awesome and I too want to see the voyagers.

What are you talkig about? These frigin rock! Prime's face looks wierd and his knee shields arent flipped up. (By the look of it they do flip up though YAAY)

WHAT!!???! Jazz is the fuckin coolest design there! (IMO) And Megatron kicks all kinds of ass. Prime needs work, I think if we have him we can set him up better and more like what he looks like. These Hasbro photographers are idiots! They didnt get BB's auto-feature right, primes knee shileds, and probably other stuff we dont know about yet also.

Can anyone see primes face up close? And wheres Ratchet & Blackout???

I dont know...i was really looking forward to Prime looking like the Empire cover with the outward truck grill chest, but it appears all the toys have been the earlier designs, so is this not what Prime will look like then?

I just want to point out that the grey doesnt make his legs look larger, its the phot taken from the top view down. It appears to make him look fatter. You get a better idea of size if you look at the prototype. They are the same toy after all. I imagine after carefull inspection that the legs are a bit short, but not thatshort

If you look at the empire cover & then at the toy, you will see the same outline that it has on the cover. The upside down U shape with corners. It is shaded in on the cover so it appears to look different. When in fact, it is all the same prime.

Do you see on the toy, that same grill outline?

they do look like the same piece in both cg shots, but angled outward in the Empire shot, there sno way the chests on those two shots is identicle, lighting aside.

Not true. The prototype shot is actually taken from a higher angle than the photo in the catalog. You can actually see more of Prime's shoulder area in the original unpainted proto.

What I mean is, the colour visibly separates his legs from the kibble, making them appear quite small when compared to his undeniable upper-body girth. The uniform grey of the prototype helps blend the kibble with Prime's actual legs, making them appear far more solid.

Barricade, Brawl and Jazz are definate buys for me, I think they all look great. Though I am kinda disappointed that it seems Jazz's headlights can't slide in under his grill like the movie one to give him a thinner chest. Prime and Megs, they're both kinda meh-ish to me, but that could just be bad pictures. The proto shots had them looking far better proportioned then these images make them out to be, though they were still just as bulky back then.

All in all, it's a lot of 'hit and miss' with me, but I'm like that with every toy line.
