It's definitely changed from what I remember it first being, but hopefully it's still going to be pretty good. Kinda wish it was still team-based; it was fun chatting and working with the other players, buuuut we'll see how it goes.

 

Pretty much it. It looks like they've updated the assets and changed your default cadre of bots, but the announcement sounds like the same old over-hyped dogshit it was before.

 

Nice to see Transformers footage set to music that's not as lame as Linkin Park or Stan Bush.

Even though I'd grown weary of the TF Prime aesthetic, some of these look great. If Hasbro want to adapt a few of these into toy form, I'd welcome it. That looks like a great Optimus design. From what I can see so far, it's as good or better than any version of Prime they had on TFP, BH, WFC, or FOC

TF Prime aesthetic... was interested in this game initially, but now it looks to be an easy PASS.

what's a MOTA?


I know what a MOBA is: It's like LoL, DotA2, HoN, Demigod, or Awesomenauts and the like.
But what's the difference between a "Multiplayer online battle arena" and a "massively online, tactical action"?
Does the massively part mean anyone and join in? Or does that just mean you connect to a battle launcher?

 

Well I think some of the designs turned out better than anything in Prime.

Although nose fans will be disappoint.

 

It's a browser-based third person shooter...that's really all. You connect to a lobby, it fills up, and you go. They're just polishing a turd with that lingo is all.
