    Is there gonna be a version that has chrome smokestacks? I'd buy it just for the alt mode.

    Come, see the poor quality plastic, laughable engineering, sparse paint job and tacky collector-magpie-attracting chrome...in HIGH DEFINITION!!

    On the one hand, I think it's probably good to show potential buyers these new products in such detail. But on the other, I hate the fact that junk like this is getting so much attention. Sure, it's all new, all shiny (literally), exciting new merch. in the TF universe...but it's still crap.

    The best thing about this gallery is the photography itself. So, good job guy-with-camera!

    I'm at odds with myself on him.

    I like the bot mode for what it is (movie styling is just weird to me).

    I like the vehicle mode.

    I like that it can transform semi quickly.

    I don't like that really nothing of the robot's body involved the actual truck. Other than the stuff hanging off. I like when you can see parts of the vehicle intertwined in the humanoid form. This is kind of like 2 different toys, nothing to do with each other.

    I'm willing to give it a go, see what they come up with, but that's where I'm at with this simplification thing right now.

    You know what? The bot mode isn't too shabby really, but it's the alt mode with those solid windows and the half-chrome-half-painted-on bumper that kills it for me. Think the generations leader balances the two modes a bit better even if neither is perfect.

    So they couldn't even manage the paint on the sword and shield? Would probably be better served just using FOC Grimlock's sword and shield.

    Looks like you guys got one with unpainted weapons, too (both of mine have unpainted weapons). I wonder what the deal is with getting painted vs. unpainted weapons?

    all I see now is folks posing prime on Grimlock.

    Damnit, I MIGHT get one for truck mode, but not until it goes down to clearance price. like 20 bucks or less. If it doesn't, i will have no problem passing on it, and I LOVE optimus prime.

    Wait for the other leader to come out, it'll be cheaper anyway and it looks like it'll have chrome (or at least metallic paint) in the truck mode.

    Truck mode looks fantastic..

    Nice pics...These pics may sway some. They put me from the "no way" to "meh maybe".

    Mine came painted, Tony's didn't. Seems to be a relatively common error, unfortunately.
