Yeah, I don't see how it could not be. This is the most obvious MP character repaint you could possibly do, especially after the yellow Tigertrack Sideswipe repaint.

I'd been sure they were going to do this. In fact I'd been starting to wonder slightly just because it hadn't been anounced yet.

Really? Look at Takara's Reissue History on him. The ONLY Blue Bluestreak they ever did was Binaltech.

Yup, it has to be Diaclone colored. If they'd go so far as to repaint Sideswipe yellow into Tigertrack, a blue Bluestreak for all those fans that want it seems like a no-brainer here. I personally don't care about Diaclone repaints, but am happy for everyone that's been climbing the walls for something like this.

That was my first thought exactly---"Blue Bluestreak would be awesome, but the actual G1 toy was all-silver, so it'll probably just be a solid bright silver"

 

Just watch Takara trolls all of us and it's really going to be an MP version of that E-Hobby chromed Bluestreak.

 

Since its a JUNE release that means its more or less 90% certain to be the Toy Show exclusive this year. (Like Tigertrack last year).

 

I don't know if I need another Datsun...what with having all three. But that blue Bluestreak is the first non-show figure that is tempting me.

 

I hope not... that terrible "golden" bronze Lambor knock off was utter shite haha.

I'm off of MP repaints. I cancelled G2 Lambor, and the Soundblaster because they are both fairly meh.
But a diaclone to go with tigertrack would be worth getting, and the colors are hot.
