Around the time his big panel human killing fame in AHM descending into sweet fuck all.

Years later this was followed by a brief resurgence in Dark Cybertron where it took losing his legs to a Titans fart to come clean about being short sighted.

He's on coke now. Bad coke.

I'm actually not from or in Birmingham. I was at uni there and never changed my location when I finished. Not that I live too far from Birmingham.

As for the other thing, dear God no! Omnius et al will tell you...

I would have tried eating some, but I had a horrible feeling that it would burst into incandescent flame on contact with my infidel intestines, and as you can't get Szechuan or a curry around here I'm all out of practice with that!

Thanks for letting me know it wasn't just mine that was flimsy; I'll bear that in mind when deciding if I want to have another go at the figure! :)

I'm hoping they fix the wrong-hips issue for Crosscut so we won't have to risk amputee hell there too! They'll fix the wrong-hips issue, by then, won't they? I mean, they fixed the shoulder issue between Blitzwing and Doubledealer...OH NO WAIT. :(

I wouldn't be surprised if they did do it, okay Roadbuster's not been in IDW lately, but neither had Crosscut or Tankor or Scoop until recently, so they could easily release a toy and suddenly the Lost Light would find RB sitting on an asteroid....if you can think of obvious repaints that might help you calculate the probability?

Also, FOC Whirlbottle didn't prevent Voyager Whirl....am hoping the same thing will apply to Impactor. :)

But, you see, Hasbro KNOW that you will have worked that out! It is all a ploy to make collectors buy up all the gold plastic figures, which will then disintegrate, just in time for the reissue in normal plastics! It's all a trick, you see, a trick! :)

(Or am I after them myself, like Morg's secret plan
[*] to buy every up G1 Wheelie on Ebay and thus turn them into £100 toys? He pretended he was joking, but WE know that was also a double-bluff! Just like this is! Or is this...a triple bluff? And I just like the idea of cupboards crammed full of Goldbugs? Where gravity will crush them all down until they become....an ingot! Of solid gold! Dammit, quadruple bluff! Aaaaaaaaaa! :)  )
    .
    .
    .
[*] The Diaclone thread is both great and terrifying. Also never do an eBay search for "Transformers Wheelie"; it causes nausea, cramps, and bowel disturbulations, spreading faeces and fear throughout all the conurbations.

Thanks! First world problems and all that but even though I sat there looking at my broken Skids thinking how I have to walk through the cancer clinic to get to work every day and I shouldn't be feeling sad over ten bucks' worth of plastic, it was still a bit melancholy! I guess the principle of the thing... :)  Am glad you fixed yours okay, though! F=ma so I'm guessing these toys are more likely to bounce than break, unless forcefully defenestrated, but if they do it would be into big flakes! And am very tempted to try it on what's left of my Skids! :)

Geewunners and Bay fans living together....mass hysteria! :)

Maybe once you start to get a situation like that it acts like a filter as well, where decent folks like Maz get fuct off with it and leave, or see what it's like and stay away, thereby increasing/maintaining the concentration of venomous bleeders...anyway I find it all very interesting (from a safe distance), human psychology (or psychlologies) and the patterns that it makes fascinate me! :)

I've been avoiding figures with a reputation for GPS so I've never seen the vulnerable plastic to be able to compare, but Goldbug doesn't look like what you describe; fortunately neither do my BWII Galvatron's death chicken mode feet, which is also reassuring! :)

Am now imagining every child in the world who was bought a Goldbug holding it up to their eye in some display of inter-infant solidarity, and squeezing......

Thank you! Also I had a feeling that somebody would think the icicle photo looked like bird shit, as soon as I noticed what it looked like in thumbnails! :)

    Pfahaahahahhahahahahaha, nice one! :lol

I like her face sculpt and helicopter mode. Robot mode has disappointing articulation (to put it mildly!) appears to be wearing tails, and has crappy stigmata. A wasted opportunity for a great character, but I've still had fun with it. Not the worst Prime/BH deluxe, by a long and calciferous blackboard scrawling implement... :)

The Legion version is okay too. Probably more so if you like Legions. (Fallback/Outback and the Terrorcons, I'm afraid I generally don't; would rather have mini-cons as the designs were more interesting.)

MP Reflector would rock! I liked the look of the little Scouting Force bots, but they were way too small. :(

If they released BBs that did what you suggested I would laugh like a drain and then buy both. :)

    Dammit, the temptation..... :)

Hmm, Swipe Dastardly! :D  If I hadn't been after him already due to his getting me to read Furman's awesome G2 comic (the US version, that is) then that would have got me anyway; with that way of looking at him, how can we do less? :)

I didnt get to open any toys yesterday. Maybe tonight it will be Aurora... or maybe Cyrus Breakdown.

Incidently, does anyone know where I can find a reasonably priced Grind Rod? I have one already, but he is stored away, and I now have the other two TW Throttlebots and it would be good to complete the set here*. But, they are going for about 70GBP on eBay!

Also, its kind of a shame that the MP line is currently being so divisive. It doesnt need to be. I get that people love it and are fanatical about it, but there is more to TF collecting.

Elsewhere on the internet, I have been told that talking about the MPs that I have is 'dick waving' by several people. One of whom not five minutes later said he was going to get TRU MP10, another then posted a picture of Generations Whirl and a third posted pictures of those two FoC 3P armour sets.

Its really getting boring people telling me what I can and can not like. I am certainly not saying that things are like that here, and I would hope that they continue to be as inclusive as they currently are.

Right there with you.... although I had never thought about it myself. I think that I like S1 characters, but S2 toys. That cant be good.

While I love Alert as one of my favourite G1 characters of all time, I am an 80s toy guy at heart. That is where my 'characters' come from, and my nostalgia is. And, those fake shoulder wheels are both a horrible cheat and stupid. I hate them.... almost to the point of picking up a Sideswipe and repainting into Alert.... Although I might just buy a second Alert instead.

I realised the other day that I have MP Wheeljack on pre-order twice, and have zero interest in MP Bee. I am very suspicious of the pricing on this guy, being the same price as Wheeljack, and probably being smaller. This means either Takara will fleece us for him by charging a standard price for a smaller figure, or will add in utterly unnecessary accessories.... Who knows, maybe Takara will surprise us and MP Bee will come with MP Cliffjumper as an accessory? Maybe not!

Even the Herman Munster head on the 17 isnt a million miles away from Megs. The 17 is based on the 171 which shares the delta-wing of the Stealth Bomber, so its a pretty good fit.

    Hooray, Fort Max wins!

'I'm reaching Maximum Dinobots' is my new exclamation for everything.

I have nothing to add to the party. Pretend I said a smut and keep going.

At the end of the day it's you collection and you can throw in whatever you like, if it looks good to you what does it matter, I recently got Toyworlds Bii, he doesn't have the MP finish by a long shot but he looks pretty good bot mode was and scales pretty well too and I think that's all that really matters with me, if it looks and scales close enough I'll just shoehorn it in.
And another thing about that vf-17 is you can get it in 1/60 scale which is about what the MP Seekers are about...just need to find confirmation on how tall it is in battriod mode but I think it would look pretty good and who knows how long before we get a proper MP Megs.

Has there ever been a KO that looks better than the original?

I'm sure others will disagree but that looks better. Really digging the extra paint apps. Now I want them to kick out Magnus! Note the pins in the fingers.....already an improvement.

For a ko it does look nice, I guess the only unknown is the quality and how good the joints are but it could be a good alternative for those that can't get an mp 10 if it's cheap enough.
