Hey everyone just to let you know I picked up a case of the Kabaya wave 2 kits. If it's like any other box of 8 from Kabaya I'll have two complete sets with two extra. That means I'll have 5 to sell if anyone needs them. Keep in mind the shipping says I can expect the case between the end of the month and the end of February. Yeah, I know

Has anyone else tried to combine the Kabaya Exkizer and Dragon Kizer yet? I think I got most of what you're supposed to do, but I'm having trouble figuring out how you're supposed to combine the arms.

According to this, you just take off King Exkaiser's arms, before putting on Great Exkaiser's.

Oh that's right, there's other arm parts stored in Dragon Kizer's legs. OK, looks like I got it, except that the shoulder guns do not fit at all on the short pegs, so I found it's better to just leave DK's arms off of Great Exkizer's back and use those pegs for the shoulder guns. Looks pretty dang good for a Kabaya kit.

    Thanks!

I would have had the kits today but I missed my postman so I'll get them later in the week. Please tell me instructions are included, I hope this isn't like Star Saber and Victory Lio again.

Nope. I had to watch a video online. FYI it looks like Great Exkizers arms go right over King Exkizers according to the video that was posted in this thread.

They don't, that's just video magic. You have to take out Exkizer's arms to put the Great Exkizer arms on.

And no, there are no instructions included in Dragon Kizer to combine into Great Exkizer. Which is kind of annoying! But yeah, just watch that video and you should figure it out. It's not too hard.

Why would they go all the way to make them combine then not show you how  ?

Probably because these are officially meant as side diversions for little kids, and advertising a feature for your new toy that requires another toy no longer sold in stores (since Exkaiser and Dragon Kaiser are in different series) is kinda... awkward.

The combining feature is included as fanservice, but not "official".

Unless Kabaya reissues the older series like Bandai does with its Minipla, in which case, ignore me.

It's weird that Kabaya doesn't include those extra instructions. Bandai always has instructions for every official combination for their candy toys. They even include a sheet of paper with the last sentai mecha for the final combination. Hell, Mugen Pirate had instructions for a combined mode with Mugen Arthur's sea dragon.

Leon Kaiser - Brave of Gold Goldran Transformers Review

Taking a detailed look at Leon Kaiser from the Takara Brave of Gold Goldran series. I also put him in one of his flight modes when he combines with Sora-Kage. Great Goldran Review will be later this week.

Well I got the wave 2 Kabaya kits today. I have a spare set of three as well as an extra Might Gaine and Dragonkaizer (I think, have to check) if anyone needs.

But theres so many parts that are obviously only used for Great Exkaiser it would confuse people why they're there (Unless you already knows it combines).

My thoughts exactly. To use Victory Lio as an example I was putting these red tile pieces on the inside of the body, that couldn't be seen from either robot or beast mode and couldn't understand why. I quickly remembered on the original toy these were the feet for Victory Saber. Someone who didn't have that point of reference may not have realized that. Now to play devils advocate, who would buy Victory Lio, Dragonkizer, Great Exkizer, etc. without knowing the intricacies of the molds?

Well In my opinion Dragonkaiser looks pretty cool on his own even without regards to its combining with King Exkaiser :p . Anyhow just put mine together. Not bad. But these toys are a bit too small IMO. If they were sized more liked Super Sentai Minipla it would be better (parts keep coming off on those things due to size dammit).

Its easy to figure out how it goes together if you know what the MP looks like, But for people who dont know have to check online sources, kinda frustrating.

Just the greatest brave of them all for me - such shelf presence. When my move is finally complete he will once again be the centrepiece of my collection - great to see him next to predaking as well - a comparison I've always been interested to see
