    Thoughts:

    1. Casey Coller and Joana Lafuente are both gorgeous human beings (the former needs to draw more Transformers)

    2. This cover is fucking awesome

    3. Windblade is fucking awesome

    That's a fair point. :)

Though I would hope that IDW would devote some promotion to the existing titles.

I'm still shocked this character is a thing that happened and seems to be turning out great. Hope her toy is as awesome as this cover art.

Out of all the design elements for this character, I'm really digging the shoulderpads.

Don't know why. Probably because we don't really have many shoulders that look like that on our TFs.

That cover is a really nice piece of art, and probably the best picture we've had of Windblade yet. I'd say she and Cosmos are the two toys I'm most interested in this year.

Something about the tips of her wings reminds me of Mazinger Z's. Hmmm between Mazinger Z's female robots and the Nobel Gundam, Wingblades not that kooky at all.

Ah, I remember watching that as a kid, and always looking over my shoulder whenever Oppai Missile would happen, to make sure my parents didn't see it. Somehow, I just knew they wouldn't approve...

Welp, there goes Windblade for me. I really don't care for the design, sure maybe in time my tune might change but as it stands I don't like it.

I like the design, but for some reason, I see her face as a mask, and not really her face. I don't know if that makes sense, it just seems like, instead of a painted design, it's something that fixes over her face for some reason to me.

Huh, I'm impressed. Thread managed to go 3 pages without one of these.

    Well, at least that's something.

Yes. That is exactly the sort of thing I was talking about. Female Giant Robots have come a long ways since the 70's.

So anyone else trying to figure out Windblade's transformation scheme from that picture?
