Jazz looks fantastic. However, I'm not nearly so keen on Starscream; he looks too Super Deformed for my tastes (something I have no problem with in art, but don't like in toys).
Incidentally, having seen other shots of these 2 I think that the odd goldish colour is a lighting thing, and not the toys themselves.

Heh... I think this seller realized that the toys looked better bathed in golden light. It's remarkable how it adds to the molds. :)

I'm really impressed with the Jazz... except for his brutish arms. There's got to be a way to kitbash that into something workable... right?

Y'know... speaking of kitbashes, and looking at the FAB Optimus... I'm thinking it really won't take all that much to get a great HUFFER out of that figure! Bwa ha ha ha... only a matter of time now... :)

Jazz looks cool, starscream still pisses me off. I'm a seeker nut and I hate the proportions of this particular take on him. he's entirely too fat and short.

Jazz looks surprisingly good. Of course, from the battle mock-up we saw months ago, Jazz's car chest was clearly visible. The design art we saw was very bubbly and cartoony. I'm interested to see what the final movie version looks like. This toy, however, looks like a pretty nice basic class figure. Actually, judging by the size comparison to the battery, maybe these are deluxe-sized. Either way, I think they look pretty good. Starscream for some reason looks better here than in his Voyager-class incarnation. Still looks like an airplane & robot sandwich, but as a stand-alone robot (not Starscream) it looks pretty cool. These photos are still small and fuzzy, though. I want a close-up of the faces.

Actually, looking at Jazz... it looks more like Bumblebee to me than anything else. The old toy version. I mean -- he's got the banana-horns!

I can't believe I like the FABs this much. :cry

I think it's just that they're such flagrant desk toys.

Hmmm, Gerwalk mode seems to be a movie Starscream favorite. Siebertron had a bunch of shots of the big movie Screamer in gerwalk mode.

One good thing I can say about the movie line, they all seem to have really great paint jobs! Really good washes and whatnot.

These FABs are pretty impressive for small movie figures aimed at younger kids. I'm tempted to pick up a couple when they're released.

Jazz is the man, the figure looks great!

Screamer is starting to grow on me but he still just seems "off". Gotta love the Gerwalk though.

Wow. I'm surprised. I just noticed SS actually has regular 5 fingered hands. I was expecting claws or cannons or something. Makes me like his movie design even more than I already did. I hope the actual movie design has this too.

It's strange how the FAB version looks better than the more expensive voyager version. IMHO of course.

The arms look awful. Where is any poseability? Shoulders only? No thanks. Cool for a quick changer, but nowhere in the realm of any classics figure.

They look like claws to me.

I really have no idea why the other version has cannon hands.

I'd assume the cannon hands are based on almost every movie TFs ability to transform one or both arms into weapons.

Both look nice to me. I like inaccurate chibi-scream better than the real thing (voyager toy or movie CGI) Jazz looks quite nice, though my mind keeps telling me I'm looking at Cybertron Crosswise with G1 Goldbug's head. :)

I don;t think we have seen Starscream in CGI. As far as I know all we've seen are toy pics.
