Factory? I thought someone said this was all hand made/painted? Regardless, I want a Soundwave for my work desk!

 

The parts are made in the factory, and they still have to hand paint them.

Since each is being painted by hand, it's unrealistic to expect a definitive (much less consistent) release date... Each retailer (and indeed, each customer) will get them when they get them.

Especially if you ordered both figures.

These designs are following the Revoltech aesthetics, which are themselves based on the Pat Lee/Dreamwave style. Since they don't need to transform, unique characteristics can be exaggerated and stylized... which is precisely what makes these superior to the old Mega SCF or Action Masters approach.

In other words: 'Cause it's kewl, dood!

Ah...makes sense then. Not really in the market for these right now, but if they dish out a Grimlock somewhere down the road, I'd buy that in an instant.

I got my order in. Owning the original 5 TF revoltechs, I couldn't pass these up. I do hope the quality is there in terms of ratchets and paint apps. This is really a blind purchase.

 

The producer of these has also made very high quality products previously: Alloy Wheelie, the G1 Headmasters 10-pack, and G1 Browning. I am buying these based both on pics and the producer's reputation.

 

Awesome. I do like that metallic paint app similar to Starscream's red.

Same here. But, it's not that far off.  

 

Glad I got a heads up from a friend and bought these. I like this aesthetic and hope the future releases don't stray from it (the Ultra Magnus already has).

 

Seems sold out again.. . Just found out about them. Hope they get more. I want a set!

I do think the wonderfest Ultra Magnus look better


And fits in well with Revoltechs


have to say I don't collect transformers anymore but am really considering finding these!

that's a fucking awesome shelf. How did you get those other ones like Jazz, Wheeljack, Prowl, etc? Customs?

 

I made them all I have a Mirage but never completed it, I also have all 6 seekers

A while back it was only me and robvega214 who were making custom revoltechs, so that's why its good to see someone else making custom now days, Still cant get over how good these new ones look!
