TRU Humble has restocked their First Edition Prime toys, including one Cliffjumper. They also have all of the new Marvel Legends Spider-Man figures, minus Black Cat and Carnage (I took those!). Beyond that their shelves are pretty empty still from Christmas. They had one platinum Ultra Magnus and a variety of BH deluxe figures.

For those looking for the new Spider-Man figures. I spoke to a guy at Target Atascocita today. He said that they are "supposed" to get a box tomorrow, and the Target Humble is supposed to get two boxes. Happy Hunting.

Target's are resetting their toy aisle soon if they haven't already done so. So it should look better there soon. This time of the year is typically the slowest shopping days of the year, so restocks are in turn slow as well.

Personally, I'm kind of disappointed that the TF pegs at my close Targets aren't a little more bare right now, the TMNT section sure got picked clean. Constructobots and Beast Hunters just haven't sold as well for Hasbro this year, especially the overstocked Target exclusive Predacon Rising stuff and the Ultimates OP and Predaking. Shelfwarming hard, and possibly for a while to come.

Dang it, Christmas is supposed to clear all the old garbage out so they can get new stuff! What chance do I have of finding Swerve when Decepticon disc packs are still on the pegs?

I've noticed this as well. Some of the stores are completely bare, while others seem to have a glut of beast hunter and predacon rising stuff. Those Giant beast hunter primes are the worst offenders.

Beast Hunter's mainline did ok. Predacon's Rising's failure is on Target and Hasbro. They failed to promote the dvd release of the movie inconjunction with the toyline in store; in fact the endcap display with PR stuff was taken down THE WEEK PR was released. It should have been added to that display and advertised on their tv's in electronics.

I went the targets in the South Austin area. (still learning names.) and they were all pretty bare. That one toys r us across from the Target in south Austin is terrible.

    Agreed.

I'd also add that shipping full cases of one figure was also not the brightest idea.

No Rhinox sightings in DFW for me so far.

Scored Spider-Man Legends, Infinite Series, The Amazing Spider-Man. What a fantastic figure! IMO, this is one of the top five best Spider-Man action figures of all time. Near perfect combination-sculpt of Arthur Adams, Jim Lee and traditional design with some movie realism. Duplicates those famous Spidey poses without too many points of articulation, too. I am impressed! This will tide me over until I can get a Black Series 6" Boba Fett from a scalper :)

Get shots of you with your collection!

Hey all, wasn't quite sure where to post this so hope no one gets upset.

I run a photography business on the side and got a request from a client the other day to do a shoot of him with his Robotech collection after I shot their family portraits. Shots were a little tricky but turned out great. But it got me thinking about how cool it was that he brought that up.

So out of mere curiousity I wanted to see what ya'll thought of the idea.

I have a basic 2 hour package I offer where I come out on site and shoot family or individual portraits, it includes online preview, editing and a CD and costs $150. So figured throw in a TFW2005 discount of say 20% off (I live here after all) so the price would be $120.

    Just curious what your think?

I think that's very much the big factor. Since exclusives tend to be redecos, they needed variety. It also didn't help that the ultimates were rather unimpressive at $60, and both were saturated on the shelf as Voyagers for months beforehand. Neither was packaged particularly well, either. Both looked rather cheap.

I'm not sure Rhinox has been spotted anywhere at retail yet, only online.
