Yeah I felt a little bad for him more than anything. Truth be told, apologizing and leaving at a walking pace really isn't that bad. It's just not common in the public eye.

^ That's MY line! Actually, that's how I feel about toy collectors in general.

I don't think anyone expected him to do stand up, just simply act human and go with the flow of the screw up. Tom Hanks is a director and he did just fine at Sonys CES Flub. It happens. Lets face it, he handled that terribly and he should be embarrassed, hopefully whatever Samsung paid him will get reimbursed.

And an actor. With a VERY long career of acting and performing. Something Bay doesn't have.

    It sure does.

    Mmmmm... nope.

Poor sod; public speaking can be nerve wracking at the best of times and when shit goes wrong, even the most savvy of us can just run into a brick wall.

Ah yes, because Michael Bay's profession is public speaking.

What part of that was not acting human?

By the way, Tom Hanks is also an actor and is used to performing.

No one said it was his profession, but Im pretty sure If I got paid to speak anywhere, I would do my best to do the best job I could, period.

you get paid for a job, you do it.

So what makes you think he wasn't doing what he was being paid to do?

Do you realize that not every person is the same?

He was paid to walk off stage?

Of course I realize that. But that being said he was paid to do a job, and I'm pretty sure hes done more public speaking than anyone on this forum.

He was paid to speak. That doesn't mean he was paid to entertain you when something goes wrong.

That's the kind of assumption where you'd lose if you put money on it.

That was hard to watch. I feel bad for anyone in that situation. But maybe this will bring him down a notch in his own head.

whatever, point is, hes done enough public speaking and interviews to know shit happens technically, and you go with it. Hes not a 12 year old who just missed a word at a spelling b. He handled that extremely poorly and was incredibly unprofessional. But hey transformers..
