Ok im not buying any of these anyways but i see bludgeon not drift....and if drift looks close to that as a fig ill pass him up just like im passing the first wave of 3 different bumblebees and one special edition drluxe prime.

He looks better than I expected. Of course, those designs are chibi-fied.

Oh no, not you, I'm talking about the people commenting on the sites describing the turles' figures for the TMNT film. Just the same ole "Ermahgherd, bay rhaped mah childhood!" b.s we've been hearing for the past 8 years.

 

When I read they were doing Transformers in their new line of Japanese themed vinyls, I was wondering if they were also going to do some of their Pop vinyls too. Should be interesting to see how these look colored.

For what's it's worth the helmet design did remind be a bit of Drift.

It's really weird how...undetailed it looks even compared to Optimus and Bee.

Like his whole chest is just the front of the car G1 Prowl/Jazz style and the arms all look like solid pieces and the legs are very simple. It really clashes with Prime and Bee.

 

Looks like Wahlberg's sword n Drift's forehead.

 

Aw, And I was hoping for a Grimlock figure.

 

I hope not because aesthetically he resembles a Shogun or Samurai and they're Japanese NOT Chinese.

I didn't think you could make figures I disliked more, but non-transforming, Bayformers AND super-deformed? That's pretty crappy.

 

Guys.....the chest is the front of a Buggatti Veyron.... 

 

The reason the third one is so smooth is because it likely has a normal face, and these pop things basically have zero detail on the faces except big round eyes and maybe minimal surface stuff, like a simple scar.

Ops and BB both have mouthplates, so they get to keep theirs. Plus, whoever this thrid maybe-Drift is, he may not be finished yet like BB and Op are, as far as his movie design goes.

 

I think it undeniably looks like Drift. Looks badass!
