Anyone know when new episodes will start airing? As shocked as I am by this development, I actually like this series.
Amazon has a preorder for the complete first season on DVD. Due out February 18th, 2014. The listing states it's one disc, but the cover art says and shows two. At least we'll have this if CN decides not to show the rest of the first season in January.
Yeah, it's been available for preorder for a bit, I have it on my wish list and I think I got a notice earlier in December. Just kinda waiting to see if CN does bring it back or not... guess I'll have to order it so I can at least see the 1st season if they don't. LOL.
Boy cartoon network really knows how to kill superhero series, stop running them in the middle then delay them till people forget about them, them claim poor ratings. They've done this for what 4 series now?
Let's see Justice League Unlimited, Fantastic Four, Young Justice, Beware the Batman -what am I missing?
Oh man, I was so happy when they brought back Unlimited, but they only aired and kept replaying the first seven episodes over and over again. Also does anyone remember Superfan Fridays on Teletoon, I MISS THAT!
Actually Scooby Doo Mystery Incorporated wasn't canceled. It was ended properly and on it's own terms like with Transformers Prime.
The problem is the people who knew how to run the network left before toonami died, then were replaced by people who's goal is to be the Disney channel 2.0. Also it's a crime that series like Tron Uprising and Megas XLR aren't on DVD at least.
Thanks, Eric. I didn't forget those, I was trying to think of just superhero shows though. Of which I had forgotten Green Lantern. I also remember this one show that my son happened to stumble upon. It was the premiere episode; Galaxy Express, I think. I could be wrong. I think it was done by the same studio that did Martin Mystery. I didn't love it or hate it, but he liked it. We watched the second episode the next week at the same time. We tuned in the next Saturday and it wasn't on -as far as I know it was never on again. Why would Cartoon Network even bother to: A. Buy a series that was only two episodes? B. Buy a series but only run two episodes of it? Tron is on Netflix, at least.
