Yep. I voted amazing for the same reasons. PLUS, Michael Bay gave me that rare moment the first time Optimus transformed on screen where I felt like I was 5 again and had no cares in the world. A moment I'll never forget.

Liked them, but they needed a lot of change.

The movieVERSE as a whole (movies, comics, books, etc.) is great. A lot of the fan art and some of the fanfiction are even better. The movies themselves, however, are simply a guilty pleasure for me. Yes, there's a CRAPton of things wrong with them. But somehow I am willing to sit through almost 2 hours of human shenanigans to see the robots.

I went with "Equal parts good, equal parts bad."

I liked a lot of the designs, action and some of the concepts. But the phenomenon of Murder Prime alone has been enough to have turned me off from the films.

Oh yeah, and there's all the lame offencive humor and plot holes...

I went for "Great movies!!! I would make some changes". I think they've all been pretty much what I expected of them - not dramatic tours de force, just all out action adventure fantasy stuff with cool effects. I love most of the designs. Yeah, I've found two or three a bit off-kilter even with the general live-action style, but in the main I found them a refreshing change after A/E/C. The movies themselves could've done with some tidying up, maybe an extra pair of eyes and ears to help rein things in a bit and keep things focused and less sloppy, but I like them for what they are, and I really do think that the first three films were a kind of learning curve and part of the reason why AOE is a 'not-reboot but kind of a reboot' is because the whole production team (not just Bay, but Ehren Kruger, the designers, Hasbro etc.) have slowly learnt from past mistakes and are kind of marking this as a new beginning. Or they could just want to make more money lol

Too much bad outweighing the good for me.

There was a time where the 2007 movie was my all time favorite movie...sigh those days are over. :(

I can best sum it up by saying if this were my first introduction to Transformers, I probably wouldn't be a Transformers fan.

The first movie was pretty good for what it was, and it felt the most like a Spielberg movie. The other two were just lame if not mildly entertaining attempts to cash off the phenom of the first film.

Loved the first movie! One of my favorite movies of all time. TF1 is what got me into Transformers and I loved all the Autobots. Hell the Decepticons were awesome too. The movie would've been better if Megatron was present more throughout the movie. Also I wish Starscream had more lines. And I liked Sam's character in the first movie

The sequels however are meh. ROTF was just bad. Great action scenes but horrible writing. Also the stupid humor was annoying as shit. DOTM however was decent. I did not like how they handled Megatron. God that was so stupid how he was killed by a weakened one armed Optimus. Also it pissed me off how Shockwave was nothing like the Sho kwave we know. Moving on. Sam was a self centered prick. I kept saying in my head "shut the fuck up" when I heard his damn whining.

Overall I love the first movie. It's awesome man. The sequels are meh.

But- But- The Decepticons aren't characters! Don't you want to see more of Bumblebee? And Optimus? Who needs those stinky bad-guys! It's all about Bumblebee! And Prime! And here, have some more of Sam!

"Didn't really like them, too much bad outweighing the good." My pick. Why?

    The good:
-A lot of the designs are good.
-Fresh characters, and new takes on them. (Good work with Megatron in DOTM, Design wise)
    -Great CGI.
    -Great Special Effects

    The bad:
-Plots that always contradict the previous one.
    -Characters handled poorly.
-More human screen time than robots.
    -Unfunny "humor" thrown in.
-Decepticons are killed without thought, as if they were nothing, Autobots OP as fuck.
-Half the films consisting of Sam yelling "NO NO NO" over and over.
    -Unnecessary sexual things thrown in.
    -Decepticons having no characters.
-Too much Optimus Prime and Bumblebee, the two most OP Autobots in the films.
-Random ass shots and sexual shots for no reason other than eye candy.
    -MEGAN FOX

Great movies. The first and third, I wouldn't change much. I would have preferred some more robots in the first one, but I understand it was their introduction and they needed to see if it would work. Just a little less shaky camera and it's good.
Two had potential , but I think they focused too much on the twins. Could have used major characters more and the twins for comic relief. Fallen needed more action earlier to show importance of reviving Optimus.
Loved 3. Great fight sequences. Cant't think of much I would change in this one.

I would have liked the Transformers to be a little more familiar. I do like what we got, but that's not what hits the spot for me. Yes, I would have liked them to be more G1. Sue me.

Plot, writing? Yes, I think there was quite a lot of room for improvement.

I'm in the middle as far my opinion on the movies go, but probably more towards a positive outlook than a negative one. For me, the movies did a lot of things right, and at the same time, a lot of bad things. But, although I prefer Generation 1 and other continuities to the Movie-verse, I really enjoyed some of the movie character designs and overall aesthetic, such as the three Megatrons and Sentinel Prime. However, one of my largest problems with the films thus far is that the movies focus much more on the human characters than the Transformer characters. Occasionally, I wonder: "Why is this movie called Transformers [insert number] again?" I suspect my case will continue on and will apply to the fourth film.

I think a lot folks are aware of how much I rag on these movies....and deservedly so, but I enjoyed them enough to see them in the movies, and buy them on dvd.
The movies do have their fun moments in between the parts that are garbage.

Pretty much this for me as well.
But I'd also like to add the terrible character decay of Megatron, and how poorly he was handled throughout the entire movie series.
In DOTM he had some shining moments where I could see a decent Megatron, and then Sentinel shows and just ruins everything.

It's hard to judge the trilogy on a whole. There's things about each movie that I liked or didn't like more than the other.

Fucking hate them - about as much relevance to me as the Dragonball movie......awful is just awful. I could ignore them totally and forever if they didn't have the name "Transformers" attached to them.

However, Millions disagree with me so relax Princesses.....you got plenty of box-office validation so no need to worry what I think.

One bright side of a fucking douche like Bay keeping his greasy claws around the neck of this franchise is that I get to waste a lot less money in Movie years.....like this one. And my Son is now old enough to waste his own allowance buying a ticket and his own Bumbee toys so I don't have to sit through number 4 now as a Hostage/parent.

    Yippee.

I don't mind them they could be better but for what they are and the amount of characters they managed to put on screen they done a good job.
