"I'll meet you there. Give my regards to your father." replied Aura. The two nodded before going their desperate ways. Aura waited in the courtyard for Rodimus, engraving a Cybertronian symbol on her bow while she waited. (Welcome Shockwave!)
((Thanks for the welcome. )) Shockwave launched out from the ground in the middle of the dark metal "forests" near the formerly grand fortress he called home. His snake-like steed made quick work of scaling the fortress with its master astride it. When they had reached the top, Shockwave dismounted and immediately knelt. The area around him began to glow a deep purple. The mysterious being that held the ability to reanimate fallen transformers was near. It did not speak, but he could feel its thoughts tingling on the edge of his perception. It has been found. The beginning of the end of our enemies has come. His master sounded, or rather felt, worried, "Is there something else, my Liege?" An old prophecy, made by a tottering old minicon fool. But it worries me, nonetheless: All that's energon does not glow brightly, not all those who flee war are a bust; bringing peace doesn't mean one fights poorly, strong warriors aren't ravaged by rust. From lands far will return those who scattered, bringing light to our darkest of time; reforged shall be the blade that once shattered, the Thirteenth once again shall be Prime. "Who would dare defy the great and mighty Unicron? It defies logic," If he were able, Shockwave would be stunned. Many hath tried in olden times. And they believed they had succeeded. Foolish mortals. They will inevitably try to use that which is rightfully mine against me. So I command you: DESTROY THE PRIME! Shockwave quickly thought about objecting to the Chaos Bringer's order. He was smarter than that, so he merely nodded. However, he had no intention of destroying anyone but Grimlock. He mounted his beast, and the two of them slithered back into the land below. ((Okie Dokie)) Monokill stood from his throne and looked down at his minions, "Looky at this offer we have here minions of mine. Its worth leaving the underground. We sit here with dry tubes and empty tanks without a drop of fuel to be found. But it seems there is no longer reason for sadnesss and despair. The solution to the problem that we have is waiting out there," He pointed to the cave entrance and the hideous minions of his began climbing out like robotic ants, "This. is. an. Opportunity, to get some energon for me," he stopped singing, "I mean for, erm, us. Yes. Us. We're starving to death and could really use some power. All we need is a Grimlock to slaaaaay." "But my lord, what if he slays us?" a small impish bot squeaked. "That would be a problem, yes, but that is why you see. We will overwhelm him by swarming over his whole scaly, armoured body and squeeze the tasty energon out from his veins to full our army with the power of his paaiiin." "Are you sure?" "Yes, we. must. take. this. Opportunity to get some fuel for you and me. We won't be starving and we'll have plenty of power. And we'll never go hungry agaiiiiiiin!" Monokill finished with a laugh. The last few troops exited the cave, while their master just sat smirking and dreaming about energon applenty. ((I'm so so sorry for using the Flim Flam brothers song in this. ))
(Its okay!) Aura still sat in the courtyard, wondering what was taking Rodimus so long. She didn't want to keep Vector Prime waiting any longer than he should have.
Shockwave and his driller slithered toward the nearest settlement. A fortress used by an old Prime, Vector if he remembered correctly. He noticed something as he approached, a femme was sitting in the courtyard. He dismounted and aimed his cannon at her, "Hello, Princess Aura."
She tilted her head up and she was face to face with a cannon. She looked up to see the one eyed Cybertronian. "Shockwave." she growled.
Shockwave fired, but the shot missed by a few inches. He mumbled angrily and charged towards Aura with his cannon raised like a club. He closed the distance in only a few seconds and started to bring his cannon down.
Aura raised her bow in defence like a shield. The two clashed weapons with each other as Aura used all of her strength to push Shockwave back as she fired an arrow once he was far enough from her.
The arrow buried itself in Shockwave's chest. He grunted and rushed towards here again; calling his driller to assist him. The beast slithered into the courtyard and towards Aura. Shockwave fired and the driller prepared to bite Aura.
Aura was struck by the shot and plummeted to the ground. She came to just in time to back flip out of the way of the Driller's bite.
Shockwave started to fire again, but fell to one knee when the pain of his injury caught up with him, "Finish her!" The driller spat out the mouth full of meta soil it had gotten and turned back to its prey. It slithered towards her again and swung its tentacles at her in an attempt to capture her in its grasp.
As Aura ran from the metallic driller beast, she fired arrows at the tentacles. She took out three of them, but sadly luck wasn't on her side. When she could she where she was going, one if the tentacles tripped her and she collapsed to the ground, dropping her bow in the process. When she tried to bolt, a tentacle wrapped itself around her, lifting her up into the air. "RODIMUS HELP!" screamed Aura.
Rodimus rushed out with a squad of warriors and opened fire on shockwave. The arrows pierced into his lone optic. "Aura! I am coming for you!" he drew his fighting blades and hacked at shockwave with speed and skill.
Shockwave held up his arm to block the blow and stumbled backwards. He could tell that his master was displeased with him. He tried to get another shot off, but he was too weak from energon loss, "F-Fine. Y-you win. It is illogical t-to continue fighting either of you, when neither of you are my target. Drop her, my steed." The driller did as it was told and dropped Aura; immediately coiling around its master afterwards.
The drill took off away from the courtyard with its master, disappearing into the sun. Aura shook her head from the blow as she slowly got up, picking up her bow in the process.
