Hey everyone, I'm holding off on picking up either 3rd party Predakings, but I really like the design of the beastmode for the TFC Lion/"Nemean". Does anyone know (or have seen photos) if the combiner head is either a.) part of, or b.) ships with the TFC Nemean Lion? When I was a kid, I use to display/play around with that bot (the only one I had of Predaking aside from the 'Bull'/Leg) and attach the combiner head when it was in non-gestalt mode. Anyone know if that's possible with this release?
The head is built into him, so yes it should be possible I reckon (Sure several of the Nemean owners will confirmed).
Looking at the way it transforms, I'm guessing it's possible. Might have seen pics of it too... don't remember.
There is a pic somewhere not to long ago of what you are saying in the Ares thread. I remember cuz zfarsh was asking for someone to take a pic of the exact thing.
It should be possible. The head is on the flip side of the neck plate. Actually, I think that head is small enough to look good on Nemean.
Lol, I was JUST messing with nemean and did this moments ago to see what it'd look like. Yes, I can confirm it works. Heads just a wee bit too big to look right, though.
LeoDux, is that the MMC version? Can anyone snap a photo of the Nemean/TFC version (and/or the MMC version?) with the combiner head up in bot mode? I searched through the megathread with keyword searches for 30 min. and couldn't turn up anything.
That looks pretty cool. From watching video reviews of LeoDux (MMC ver.), I wish the TFC one had the same legs and non combiner bot-mode head, but generally I'm leaning toward Nemean. Thanks for the pic. Edit: Having watched reviews of both Nemean and LeoDux... I'm actually leaning more toward MMC's release. I had no idea the crazy-big lion made was collapsable on MMC's version. That, added to the better bot mode headsculpt and legs makes me think I'll pick him up instead when released. Thanks for the info everyone.
And yeah, I can confirm that the MMC version can flip the gestalt mode head out in robot mode as well.
Hey Peaugh, I just finished watching your video review of LeoDux - it convinced me that the MMC version is the way to go.
