With the next Transformers Series only speculated (rumored by some to be a sequel to Prime), what direction should the line take next? Do you think Hasbro would continue the Aligned Continuity? Should they consider revisiting Animated? Or, I'm sure the demand is low at this time, some sort of Beast Wars revival (like, say, bringing Transtech to actual series and not it being The Line That Never Was)? I figure that Hasbro would continue to use the Aligned series, since they went to the trouble of putting all their effort into it.

Maybe Transtech could sneak into Aligned, if it's done as the Distant Future (300+ years from the end of Prime, meaning it would be a similar evolution to Beast Wars was to G1/G2). Now, it could be set firmly in the future, or with Time Travel (something that they didn't even bring up in Prime) have a cross over with the Prime cast. Even, though it may be overly ambitious, cross into other Universal Streams, like the Club Version of Transtech.

Well since the Aligned universe is said to be sticking for a while like in a decade we may see a sequel series that takes place ater Prime and sees the post war period of Cybertron or it can be something else that's within the universe.

Eh I hope they stay away from time travel. If they're going to be sticking with Aligned, I'd love to see a show that shows events before the war started, like before WfC/FoC.
Maybe the corrupt government could be the antagonist.

Won't ever happen in a show, but I can dream ;)

They did post a few months ago that the next series is going to be more kid friendly. I guess Prime, as amazing as it was for most of us, was a tad too dark at times for the target audience. My nephews are examples of that.

Personally I would like to see them mend in Primus and/or Unicron a bit more. It doesn't make much sense with Unicron being earth in the current continuity, but I think it would be amazing to maybe bring in some big storyline from long ago featuring them. Maybe at least a movie.

There's at least things we can assure at least. Optimus Prime and Bumblebee are going to be in it somehow.

A pre-war series would be cool. Although there probably wouldn't be a whole lot of action, it would go a little deeper into the political side that led to Megatron becoming a revolutionary.

Also, I would love to see the IDW More Than Meets The Eye series made into a television show.

well if its a sequel to Prime Beast Hunters, with Optimus pretty much gone right now, they might pull a Rodimus Prime or something but done in the right way, making him more stand out that say his other versions out there since the G1 movie

plus, try to reference WFC/FOC, Rescue Bots, & GO! to fit in with the theme of so called Aligned universe series,

Well transformers always had a big cast back in the day so a new show in the prime universe wouldn't have to set that far in the future, just following other bots and cons, say Impactor and a few of the other wreckers but for that to be any good it would be to dark.

Possibly BumbleBee's first command? It would fit with the evolution of the show but need not be as dark, with the other members of team prime popping up here and there, maybe even going the supreme commander ultra magnus route that animated went down.

They all transform into animals...oh, wait.

jk...like they're going to go back to the idea of them ALL turning into beasts...like in some kind of a reboot or reimagining of Beast Wars. HAHAHAHAHAHA.

Have the 3 Predacons, Knockout, Smokescreen, and Ultra Magnus be the main characters of the next series.

I would love it if it was a sequel to Prime/Beast Hunters, I have a feeling that the Alligned Continuity is Hasbro's 2nd attempt at a 3 part ultimate continuity much like the Unicron Trilogy.

It's going to be in the alligned universe. You know it will. Probably a sequel to Transformers Prime. Not sure how distant into the future though. Could be 20 years could be 100.

Everything I have read says that any and all transformers for the next decade was going to be in the aligned continuity. So as a guess I would say a sequel to prime perhaps some overlapping from the tail end of "Beast Hunters". Or like the post above me 10 to 20 years in the future.

With Aaron Archer gone, and a new movie to follow up, and the fact that Aligned has thus far been a massive jumble creatively, I'm not as certain that Hasbro's going to insist on sticking with it as hard.

Assuming that they do, though, and they continue to follow the same show-writing style of recent, it will likely be a sequel to TF:p rime, but not really a direct follow-up. It'll likely have a partly new cast, a very different premise, and an annoying willingness to ignore past continuity, characterizations, and themes in making new ones. Starting with Optimus' return.

With Dinobots hitting the big screen come next summer, I can't help but wonder if they'll try to tap into that.

I would like something similar to the premise of Ultimate spider-man, mainly focusing on obscure characters who are rookies, copying one of my favorite tricks from animated by keeping megatron away until a season finale. Another idea would be optimus being damaged and mostly out of the picture until later in the series. And it wouldn't be complete unless you had a cartoony style and Sandstorm and Road Rage, because I would love to see them in a modern tv show.

I bet we'll get a show with Maximal and Predacons since the last animated fiction we got was Predacon Rising. I'm not saying they'll replace the Autobots and Decepticons but we'll see Transformers with animal forms get added to the cast. Thundertron might be in the next show.

That wouldn't be a bad idea, with rhinox and waspinator in the gen line as well they could be testing the waters for a beast wars revival.

I would like Rhinox to be in the next show. He could be introduced as Bulkhead's cousin twice removed.
