That Tankor looks awful. I love having some good remakes of Beast Wars!

Yeesh! That Tankor figure look like an off brand copy of that Staxus/Darkmount figure.

Crosscut is the only decent figure in this lot.

But then anything with Beast in the title is usually a pass anyway.

Another bigger bot that is less awesome because he's been made a deluxe.

    Poor Tankor. :(

If Hasbro wants my money they need to make stuff like Misfire, Slugslinger, Triggerhappy, Arcee & a decent Galvatron from G1.

I've reached the point in life where A. I don't like to waste/blow/burn money anymore & B. I don't have the space to buy everything I like. So I have to be real picky. I pass on 99% of the stuff these days. Even though I love Rattrap I won't be buying him. I think the only Beast Wars characters I love enough to actually buy are Blackarachnia & Inferno.

Rattrap's bought, an so is Tankor. I'm just going to grab the entire wave. As for crosscut, he'll see the garbage can.

Tankor looks pretty cool. I had been hunting for Skids but I'm going to skip him now in favor of crosscut - the mold looks so much better to me as him. Hopefully the final product will be painted silver and not just molded in the gray/"silver" plastic that some toys have. Ratrap looks great for what he is, but very few of the critters appeal to me and Ratty is not one of them. Great to see Beast Wars fans getting more updates though!

Not impossible (given that BotCon Thundercracker didn't prevent Generations Thundercracker from ever existing), but seeing as it would be nigh-identical to this toy, I'm not sure it's something I'd care to see happen.

I'm surprised and a little bit let down that they didn't show Nightbeat.

Seriously? Why would you even say that? Give him to someone before throwing a perfectly good figure away. I think he's the best of the three. My Botcon Road Rage will have someone to guard.

    Really?

Wouldn't it just be easier to leave Crosscut on the peg and let somebody else that wants one to have it?

Rattrap looks awesome, and Tankor looks accurate as well. Pretty strong wave...

At first I think Tankor's looking pretty good, then I compare him to this:

    and this:

... and then I think Tankor's still pretty far off. *sigh*

And of course he's just a mere Deluxe, so there goes just about any interest I had.

Exactly. We must respect the wishes of TFCC, as our aim is to continue to have the best relationship possible with official entities of the TRANSFORMERS brand and its license holders.

I'll get my copy of the mag soon enough, but I can cast opinion forth anyway. :)

Still very much looking forward to Rattrap. Looks worthwhile in both modes. I think the pointy rat teeth homage the inexplicable needle teeth of the original toy.

I have mixed feelings about Skids, so I'll probably have to see Crosscut in person before I decide if I want it.

Tankor ... hmm. The robot mode looks decent, and can probably be helped a bit by better posing. Tank mode is surprisingly terribad, just the wrong shape. I'll probably get it to head up my crew of BM scout Tank Drones, but it's kinda sad that smaller older mold matches the overall feel of the show model better, especially with both modes considered.

    Thanks for the tip!

Yeah, even though Tankor looks to be a very simplified transformation..I mean VERY SIMPLE...to me it looks as dead on as you could get as far as being accurate to the BM CGI model. I really hope to see more from the BM line, in particular Jetstorm Obsidian and most of all (crossing my fingers here) a Voyager triple changer Megabolt Megatron with a bot mode, flying head mode and a ship mode (ship mode was only in one episode but seriously needs to be in the toy)!

Rat trap regardless of limited articulation in rat mode is an instant buy for me. I was already sold on the bot mode for it's extensive articulation and lack of hollow limbs but the nicely sculpted rat really sealed the deal for me...all the robot bits are well hidden.

Shame they could not have done that level of detail for waspinator. But Waspinator really needed to be a triple changer modeled after his Transmetal 2 figure...which BTW is the best waspinator ever made.

And then Cross what!?!?! Whatever ..PASS
