While none of this will prevent me from buying it, it certainly makes me stop and think about transforming it and that's one of the main reasons I buy these figures. That's very disappointing, but it's not an absolute dealbreaker. I think they try to cram too much into too little. Not to mention the partsforming with the back doors, which I find a bit silly, but by no means is this last thing a big problem, more of an annoyance.

This makes me happy to hear.

That looks like the gun that he comes with in the original set. The normal releases were translucent lolly-plastic. But that looks like the one from the G1 coloured takara release.

 

Nice! Can't wait to get mine. I care less about the transformation then the end results and since mine will stay in combined mode the fiddly nature doesn't really effect me.

 

Nah, FP simply likes their long square-edged tabs going into deep slots, with no draft angle or clearance whatsover.

Pretty cool. I only have breakdown and wildrider so far. Does this mean I could theoretically make Menasor even without all 4 limbs? (If I use breakdown and wildrider as arms?) Their chests open up to reveal ports for making them be the arms instead of the legs.

Can you pose truckmode next to classics Optimus truck mode?

Great shots thus far. I just don't see how these things can't be scramble city though. Doesn't the arm mode use the two small rectangle slots that hide under car crash and t bones flip up chest covers? These match the holes on the proper arms no? While it won't ruin the set for me it would make me wonder what fansproject was doing making all those extra tabs and holes in t bone and car crash's legs to make the snap together like arms. Not to mention the flip up chest covers. For one thing t bones chest could've been thinner allowing him to roll properly.

 

Awesome pics can't wait to get him home. Any chance we can get to see him next to maketoys battle tanker or even there hyperion. I plan on displaying him with battle tanker and a few smaller scaled autobots

Wow! This looks even better than what I expected. Thank you for posting all of the size comparison photos. This scales better with Hercules than I anticipated.

 

Very Very pleased the way he scales with MMC Predaking, TFC Devastator and Superion!!! At least good enough until we get the Warbotron version!
