Ohhh I liked Wheelie, but I really want Turbo.

I mean it's one of those thing were almost certainly never getting from Hasbro.

The option would be nice. I kind of like the render better, I fear it will look less "chest" and more "belly" flipped over, but agree that the styling looks almost like it's made to rotate.

I'm probably going to get this INSTEAD of Ollie/Wheelie, honestly.

 

I'm not buying it, but as a child of the eighties whose parents couldn't figure out what a transformer was and bought me endless Gobots, this warms my heart. I'm calling a mis-transformation right now, no way they would screw up that bad on this, even if it is a Gobot homage lol. Speaking of screws, how 'bout a Screwhead to go with that Turbo X-Transbots? Then you could flip it around for a slight remold/recolor Powerdasher Drill guy, whatever his name is.

as much as i love turbo and the rest of the gobots specially crasher and coptur , this design doesnt do it for me

 

Never fret. This is the third party Transformers forum. We will likely see 2 ot 3 other companies announced not-Turbos in the next couple weeks!

 

I have to say that more updated Go-bots would be a welcomed addition to a classics collection.

Hate to break it to you, but they lied. They weren't dummies. They could read the labels at the top of the box. But they could also read the price stickers…

 

 

Try comparing the larger GoBots (Super GoBots) to comparable size Transformers that came out around the same time, then get back to us which is more like toddler toys.

Just did a quick flip of the chest in robot mode in a paint program. Looks better.

 

The ones that had heads rather than windshields for faces, no question…
 
In all seriousness, there are a lot of transformer characters I'm still eagerly awaiting from these guys. But I'm impressed XTB has the courage to take a stab at a completely (afaik) unexplored market. Nice initiative. Happy for those of you who liked the Gobots, and hope it pays off for them (but not so well that they focus on Neo-Gobots and neglect the rest of the Mini-masters   ).

 

This is pre-ordered the instant it goes up.

So this is more cartoon accurate? I only had the toy so I'm disappointed that the windows aren't blue and the face is completely different, but still appreciative that xtransbots are doing gobot homages at all.

 

I only realized it was a Wheelie repaint later. That explains a lot. But yeah, I too always saw Turbo as a sorta-F40, and this so isn't that.

 

More the F40 sorta as turbo..lol.

I do see the resemblance tho.
