Seriously, Intelligence - 2? That's bullshit. Skywarp was always the smartest of the trio. Smart enough not to pull any of Starscream's crap, and not thug-level dumb like 'Cracker. Though IDW TC seems to be a significant step up from cartoon TC.

I'd put Skywarp at atleast 6 for Intelligence.

 

I think the whole wave is dead solid. The Minicons look great, Starscream looks great, Scoop looks solid and has a really interesting gimmick, and Skywarp completes the FOCing trio.

Because Perceptor these days is his G1 self.

Skywarp's original bio says that he's "not too bright" and that he "would be useless without Megatron's supervision".

Eh not really. Too red for me, I just don't dig the colour scheme. Gonna wait for the Takara one with the more paint.

Skywarp on the other hand is a definite! Much better than the Takara one!

 

Skywarp is the dumbest of the Trio, while Thundercracker is usually the most technically smart, but his personality is a lot less clear. Starscream, well, is Starscream.

Well I don't care about paint, I can change that. And "too red' seems like a really, really minor nitpick. If your main complaint of a figure that has a primary colour has too much of said colour, that's pretty good. Considering Takara's rack record with figures lately, having more paint might not be such a good thing.

Leagues better. The Takara one is so boring by comparrison.

 

Skywarp's a dumb bully. The three Seekers original Tech Spec numbers were actually accidentally mixed up, causing, for instance, the "Not too smart" Skywarp to get a 9 on Intelligence (and be the highest ranking Seeker).

If you un-mix their Specs, Skywarp is the least intelligent Seeker with a 4, Thundercracker has a 7, and Starscream has a 9.

 

I just prefer the more Armada looking colour scheme. Every part of the body is only in one colour with nothing more to break it up and it's just not right in my eyes.

It looks like a generic Seeker canon fodder certainly not like the main trio guy.

 

These all look good, but Starscream looks a little off to me for some reason..maybe the red is too bright? I'll still get him though, this wave has got to be the best wave they have in the generations line so far.

Skywarp always seemed to be the smartest to me in the old cartoon. Smart enough to always stay as loyal to Megatron as Soundwave. Megatron's choice out of the three to come with him to raid the factory in "Fire On The Mountain" for instance. And one could argue it was he that got reformatted into Cyclonus.

Starscream was, well, Starscream as said. And TC just always came off as the "dumb thug" archetype.

Ah well, agree to disagree and all that. Just a bunch of meaningless numbers on the back of a package that'll get tossed anyway.

 

Why is Starscream's courage so low?

 

Gonna get all four probably. I want Skywarp because it'll probably be the first time ever I have the three main seekers in a single mold (though I'm still tempted to find a AM Prime Skywarp) and because I like the mold & colors here, the Mini-cons because they just look cool, Scoop because I like targetmasters and I never had the original, and Starscream because it's a cool design. Though Scoop and Starscream are the two I'd be the most ok with missing.

A little annoyed that the RobotKingdom ID is right smack in the middle of the Minicon team's bio; that's the one I was really curious to read.

I have no interest in the FOC Seeker mold and Starscream looks really disappointing to me, but I'm all over the Minicon combiner and I'll likely pick up Scoop because I've had the G1 version since I was a kid.

That's on them I'm buying 2 of those combiners. The only one in this lot that I'm passing on is Starscream. But if they give the mold a Slipstream or Sunstorm repaint down the line, I might just be interested.
