AFAIK Blurr, Blaster and Drift are not wreckers.

I would love to see them put together something like that...

I wouldn't mind a new Squadron X being formed, or the MAS becoming a thing in IDW...tho shake up the roster a bit, perhaps--simply by virtue of the Deluxe Insecticons already being on his crew, Lockdown's the likeliest to head up an IDW Mayhem Attack Squad; Catilla & Carnivac aren't likely to join up based on their limited exposure in IDW--one drinking peacefully at Maccadam's, the other once aiding the Wreckers against Thunderwing--but Battletrap might.

I just got an incredible price on a Device Label Blaster, so he will be joining my Wreckes shelf soon. FOC version just didn't fit. just waiting on Whirl now, although I wish FP would apply their incredible talents to one. I don't like the Hasbro one at all... maybe I'll start looking into commissioning a custom.

 

I thought of them at first, but they are kinda something different all together.. not really a commando unit, more like a squad of bounty hunters. the wreckers are the inglorious Bastards of the tf universe.. I don't really see the DJD as a suicide squad type of outfit. just a Bunch of demented sociopaths.

 

Yeah, same reason I didn't mention them. But oh, how I'd love some toys of them.

 

I second that motion... So many characters from the comics that need toys.. Doubt Hasbro will ever get to them, so we just gotta hope some of these 3p's stop making the same figures as each other and start diversifying.

 

...and recognize that there are ways to make an accurate Tarn face without bringing down Hasbro's wrath

How are you with a brush/air brush? You can get the Headrobot's Drone kit and a Tomahawk figure and make your own whirl. I posted a pic of mine a few pages back.

If anything Bludgeon would be a fitting leader for the MAS. He was leader of the 2nd or 3rd formation of the MAS back in the G1 days.

 

I love that Whirl you have, and I think that might be the direction I go in. That one looks exactly like I want Whirl to look. I don't know how I've never seen that one before.

I actually used the GDO Springer version of the mold as I wanted the sword that came with him and the striped deco on the wings. But Headrobots used the Tomahawk mold for all their promo pics.
