They really are exceptional designs. On other figures, I've seen a lot of discussion about scale to Masterpiece or other figures; personally I'd much rather have a smaller toy at that level of design than a bigger, less creative iteration.

The best thing about Jizai's designs though is not so much that there's a lot of neat transformation bits going on, it's that what he does is elegant.

It's one thing being detailed and clever and intricate (like say, RotF's toyline as a whole), but it's another to take clever design work like that and put it together in a way that's intuitive and fun.

    Jizai easily nails that aspect.

The only headmaster of Toyworlds I like, purely from pictures as I won't have him in handle till later in the week, is Hardbone. Simply because I could see him being blocky and whatnot from an armored and militarized point of view. I do love FP's offerings though and can't wait to get Virus Code, UUUU, Smart Robin, and Mindwipe in my hands. I'll have Code Virus tomorrow so will squeal with fangasm then. Would like to find a ormal price Code though too.

I have Hardbone, like him, but annoyed that the entire front section of his vehicule mode doesn't peg anywhere when in robot mode, it's just hanging in the back being floppy.

This thing needs to be on preorder soon. I have to order this to feel at peace that I'm not missing out on a great transformer piece!

It looks like the toy head, but not the comic/animation head.

I bailed on the FX line after Chromedome due to budgetary constraints... but I'm all over this guy!

If FP gave Mindwipe Shade Man's deco from Mega Man 7, I would lose my mind.

To each their own, obviously, but I don't understand this attitude at all. "Dinky?" The Function X line are tall deluxes by even the old deluxe standard, and they frankly tower over the current deluxe product. Do you need everything to be leader class?

I, for one, prefer toys that fit in size wise with the rest of my collection, and, perhaps more importantly, don't take up all the space in my apartment.

    Toyworld's Headmasters I assume?

This line is a perfect size really... and FAR from "dinky" being between Deluxe and Voyager class... they're not far in size from the MP cars. More importantly, they're a great value... I can't afford every figure costing over $100.

I find it strange there is no preorder yet, hopefully they can at least keep the same release cadence as last year. I want this guy BAD. My most anticipated figure in what has become my favorite third party product line. Please make them all FP!

One collector's "dinky" is another's "that will fit nicely in my detolf thank you very much".

It's the same reasoning that still makes many misguided types swear that bigger must be better because it's bigger (herc-u-freaks I'm looking at you).

Stop over-compensating and find value in the little things :lol
